I do.

Brady also has more 4th quarter comebacks and more game-winning drives than Rodgers.  Herbert actually leads the NFL in both of those categories and has the same number of TDs as Rodgers.  Stafford also has more 4Q comebacks, more yards, more game winning drives and more TDs than Rodgers.

Rodgers is on the outside looking in, this year.

Oh ... plus he's a douchebag.

I don't care about his personality. He has fewer comebacks because he plays so well early in games that he never needs to come back. Anyway, Rodgers leads in all of the most important categories: passer rating, adjusted yards per attempt, adjusted net yards per attempt, QB rating, TD percentage (as total proportion of his passes), the lowest INT percentage ... you get the picture. And he has the highest winning percentage (12-2) if that's something one wants to factor in.

As for comebacks, Roethlisberger leads the league with 6. But that's because he plays from behind a lot due to a lot of shaky early game performances.

One other thing about Rodgers: in the past four seasons, he has 132 TD passes and 15 picks. That is ridiculous.

How is Rodgers a very heavy favorite?  He has nearly 1,000 fewer passing yards and fewer TDs than Brady.

I am talking about betting odds not my opinion.

All fair points.

I just think that as of now, Brady is it.  And that's just based on passing yards and TDs.  Not saying it's right, per se.  But it seems like that's what wins it.

Herbert is ahead of Allen in total yards as well.

So...to summarize, Allen is having a good year, but is not leading in TD or total yards to date.....

Allen is #2 in both those Categories

Brady has 39TD, Allen has 38

Herbert 4,693 yards, Allen 4667, Brady 4661

And he absolutely deserves it. Allen is still having a very good season though.

You simply can not watch yesterday’s game and say Allen isn’t MVP worthy.  On the biggest stage, against the #1 NFL defense…he dominated.

Josh Allen 4667 total yds; 38 TDs; 18 turnovers

*Aaron Rodgers 3773 total yds; 37 TDs; 5 turnovers

*Tom Brady 4661 total yards; 39 TDs; 15 turnovers

*Patrick Mahomes 4612 total yards; 35 TDs; 20 turnovers

*Justin Herbert 4693 total yards; 36 TDs; 15 turnovers

*Lamar Jackson 3649 total yards; 18 TDs; 17 turnovers

Dak Prescott 4054 total yards; 30 TDs; 16 turnovers

*Kyler Murray 3628 total yards; 26 TDs; 10 turnovers

Aaron Rodgers has a clear edge in the turnover category. Tom Brady has the yards and the TDs. Herbert and Allen are incredibly similar. Those would be my top 4 QBs with Mahomes having a chance to get into that mix - he is close. Jonathan Taylor and Cooper Kupp should also be considerations. If any of the 6 (7 if Mahomes has some outstanding games) win I would be fine. Lamar Jackson beating out Josh for the Pro Bowl is insane (18TDs to 17 TOs - what would the narrative on Josh be if he had those stats).

If the season ended today, Brady would/should be the MVP.

Josh will need to be lights out the last two games in order to even be in consideration.

The Pro Bowl means nothing.

Rodgers is a very heavy favorite for MVP right now. And he plays the Vikings and lions so that won't change. He is going to win it.

Last night during the destruction of the Washington Football Team, Cris Collinsworth said something about Rodgers being the #1 MVP in the league and Al Michaels jumped on, totally agreeing with him.

Like it was no contest for anyone else.  (For what that is worth).

No one mentioned Josh Allen, and he's not going to win it.

Doesn't mean he isn't loved in WNY though.

Allen is a great player! But at the end of the day the Bills are 9-6 and the Packers are 12-3 (and with a worse defense than the Bills), and Rodgers' numbers are once again incredible.

Allen is having a great season.  It's just not an MVP season this year.  There's a lot of great QBs in the league.  I'm very happy with Josh being one of the best.

Can you tools do some actual research and Post the proof?

Why call your fellow Bills fans "tools" with a certain degree of annoyance?

Why not think of them in a friendly, brotherly fashion?

It was just Christmas!

Does the tone around here have to be toxic 365 days a year?

I’m not suggesting Allen should win it this year…just that any and every MVP discussion should include his name.

If we win out and playing the Falcons and Jets defense.....Allen could have orgasmic like games and pull it off.

Especially this last Pats game is fresh on the minds of the writers who vote for this.

I thought the use of “tools” was a little excessive.

You think that’s how he talks in real life conversations? Seems like something a 15 year old might do with his friends over a game of madden. A little out of place in a conversation on a public forum (with mostly adult posters) about a team we’re all fans of.

Can you imagine his conversations around the dinner table. “Yeah, the potato’s are okay, but can you make them a little less lumpy next time, you tool?!”
