msw2112 Posted December 24, 2021 Posted December 24, 2021 (edited) While I think he could ultimately help, I don't see him being much help on 2 days' notice. He can't be anywhere close to game shape. This doesn't even take into account the facts that he appeared to have some animosity towards the team after his release and he has had trouble sticking onto anyone else's roster. So, it's a No. Let's hope Sanders can play, and Kumerow, McKenzie, and Stevenson can step up. Edited December 24, 2021 by msw2112 Quote
JoshAllin Posted December 24, 2021 Posted December 24, 2021 The big 3 is still intact for the bills, Diggs, Sanders and Knox. Going to have to make some plays up for Mckenz and Kume. Also probably use Breida more in passing who knows. Don't think Brown is a big need right now. Quote
Joe Mama Posted December 24, 2021 Posted December 24, 2021 They have Stevenson for the speed routes] let's see what he has. Quote
John from Riverside Posted December 24, 2021 Posted December 24, 2021 Would really like to see what Hodgins has Quote
Nextmanup Posted December 24, 2021 Posted December 24, 2021 No we don't need John Brown FFS. We do need the O line to play their best game of the year (somehow) and the receivers (anyone catching the ball, not just WRs) to man up and play a really good game too. We have more than enough to get the job done, if Josh is able to find targets and throw them the ball. 1 Quote

FilthyBeast Posted December 24, 2021 Posted December 24, 2021 There's a reason on he's on the street and has been cut by multiple teams this year including the worst in the league. Quote
RunTheBall Posted December 24, 2021 Posted December 24, 2021 (edited) FFS have some of you started Christmas drinking early or what?? John Brown is DONE. I'm thankful for what he did for our team but to think a guy who couldn't beat out Zay Jones or last long on the Jags practice squad could actually help this team is absolutely ridiculous. You've got 5 receivers (not named Davis or Beasley) who are actually on the team and better options than a lost-a-few-steps Brown. Edited December 24, 2021 by RunTheBall Quote
BillsFanForever19 Posted December 25, 2021 Posted December 25, 2021 (edited) He's lost a step with age and injuries. He has never run routes with Stefon Diggs or Emmanuel Sanders. The playbook is undoubtedly different now than it was when he was here. And he bashed the front office on the way out. It's not gonna happen. Edited December 25, 2021 by BillsFanForever19 Quote
BuffaloBillyG Posted December 25, 2021 Posted December 25, 2021 What in the....no. Not even a chance they should. Love me some Smoke. Have the jersey. However he waa a speed guy that has lost his speed. Makes him Just A Guy now. And bringing him in now wouldn't really have him ready to run the game plan well. Father Time catches everyone. Quote

I think it applies, but only if the player isn’t vaccinated and boosted The thing about Brown, is he’s been signed and cut by 3 different teams this season. Something is up. 1 Quote
Nitro Posted December 25, 2021 Posted December 25, 2021 Stop the insanity! He has been cut from three teams since August. Heck the Jags dropped him from the PRACTICE SQUAD. The guy is no longer the player you remember. 1 Quote
ngbills Posted December 25, 2021 Posted December 25, 2021 (edited) Hopeful they can get some run game early by being creative. End around to the wr’s, have the wr faking end arounds on dives. Shovel pass to Knox in motion. Then just go heavy diggs and Knox in the passing game. Utilize mck on some end around and quick screens. They just can’t be plain vanilla like last time. Get guys moving around and be quick and decisive. Edited December 25, 2021 by ngbills Quote
