Playoffs? Voters will see the first name they recognize and vote accordingly. It sucks if your last name is Zippadeedoodah. Yeah well what about when your last name is Allen? Quote

More than that do they not watch the games. I have not given up on Edmunds but his play this year is definitely not at a pro bowl level. Quote
Call_Of_Ktulu Posted December 23, 2021 Posted December 23, 2021 Dawkins going to the pro bowl this year is absolutely mind boggling. He has been horrid vs speed rushers and top end DE’s. He’s looked slow off the snap and just seem off this season. If I had to rate his blocking with a rating of 0 out of 10 I would rate him 6 pass blocking 3 run blocking. He is nowhere near playing at a pro bowl level. 1 Quote
Ridgewaycynic2013 Posted December 23, 2021 Posted December 23, 2021 (edited) GATHER THE VOTERS...EVERY ONE OF THEM! Edited December 23, 2021 by Ridgewaycynic2013 Quote
Greg S Posted December 23, 2021 Posted December 23, 2021 I'm shocked Zach Wilson didn't make it. Quote

The pro bowl is officially irrelevant. Must be PFF They have him rated the 48th best T out of 83 so far this year. Maybe Spencer Brown should have made it too cause he's such a beast, he's rated 73rd out of 83.😂 Edited December 23, 2021 by Turk71 Quote
Mr. WEO Posted December 23, 2021 Posted December 23, 2021 They say that Ruben Brown was re-elected to the Pro Bowl year after year due to the strength of his BBQ party. Perhaps both Dawkins and Mors make exceptionally tasty Rice Crispy squares. 2 Quote

78thealltimegreat Posted December 23, 2021 Posted December 23, 2021 I too was stunned by the lack of support for Zack Wilson and Trevor Lawrence…..I was told by ESPN they where headed to Canton Ohio…or at least taking the bus Quote

He’s leading all safeties in INTs this season! Just saw that Micah Parsons, probably the most impactful defensive player in the league this season not named Aaron Donald, didn’t make the pro bowl. LOL! Parsons did make it. One of 5 for the Cowboys. Quote

Lamar made it & Josh's stats dwarf his in every category he even has more rushing TD's than Jackson yet Josh didn't even make it as a alternate WTH !! Then when you look at Dawkins making it that's just not right !! Edited December 23, 2021 by T master Quote
DCOrange Posted December 23, 2021 Posted December 23, 2021 Some numbers re: Poyer relative to the other AFC safeties: 7th in tackles 4th in pass break ups Tied for 1st with two other guys for INTs 6th in PFF grade (1 spot behind Hyde) 2nd in PFF coverage grade 39th in PFF run defense grade He had a pretty good case, certainly better than someone like Mathieu, who probably shouldn't have even been an alternate. But guys like Justin Simmons and Adrian Phillips were right there with Poyer and arguably should have been in front of him. 6 minutes ago, dave mcbride said: PFT didn't have him listed. Doc Posted December 23, 2021 Posted December 23, 2021 LOL Lamar has 18 total TDs and 16 total turnovers. That's not Pro Bowl worthy even as an 8th alternate. 1 Quote
Nitro Posted December 23, 2021 Posted December 23, 2021 The pro bowl voting is akin to high school elections. All popularity and little substance. Lamar Jackson? Dion Dawkins? Voters see a familiar name and select them. Quote

How do you figure he shouldn’t even be an alternate? 1 Quote
Billzgobowlin Posted December 23, 2021 Posted December 23, 2021 So Lamar has been injured for weeks and Herbert is the starter based on what? Quote
