More than that do they not watch the games. I have not given up on Edmunds but his play this year is definitely not at a pro bowl level.

Dawkins going to the pro bowl this year is absolutely mind boggling. He has been horrid vs speed rushers and top end DE’s. He’s looked slow off the snap and just seem off this season. If I had to rate his blocking with a rating of 0 out of 10 I would rate him 6 pass blocking 3 run blocking. He is nowhere near playing at a pro bowl level.

They have him rated the 48th best T out of 83 so far this year.

 Maybe Spencer Brown should have made it too cause he's such a beast, he's rated 73rd out of 83.😂

Just saw that Micah Parsons, probably the most impactful defensive player in the league this season not named Aaron Donald, didn’t make the pro bowl. LOL!

Parsons did make it. One of 5 for the Cowboys.

Lamar made it & Josh's stats dwarf his in every category he even has more rushing TD's than Jackson yet Josh didn't even make it as a alternate WTH !! 

 

Then when you look at Dawkins making it that's just not right !!

Some numbers re: Poyer relative to the other AFC safeties:

• 7th in tackles
• 4th in pass break ups
• Tied for 1st with two other guys for INTs
• 6th in PFF grade (1 spot behind Hyde)
• 2nd in PFF coverage grade
• 39th in PFF run defense grade

He had a pretty good case, certainly better than someone like Mathieu, who probably shouldn't have even been an alternate. But guys like Justin Simmons and Adrian Phillips were right there with Poyer and arguably should have been in front of him.

The pro bowl voting is akin to high school elections.  All popularity and little substance.  Lamar Jackson?  Dion Dawkins?  Voters see a familiar name and select them.
