John from Riverside Posted December 22, 2021 Posted December 22, 2021 The first thing I thought when I saw this is imagine the run yardage Motor would have if it was called back in penalties Quote
LOVEMESOMEBILLS Posted December 22, 2021 Posted December 22, 2021 Run both alot on Sunday. Only 8 teams allow more rushing yards per game than the Pats* Quote

He's more of a 2, 2,0,1, 18 yard sequence guy but that at least makes him a threat. That sequence is why he doesn’t get more carries. If you run twice and then find yourself in 3rd and 7, you’re in a bad spot. 5 yard gains on first and second down are valuable. That 18 yard run is nice, but unless he houses it you’re right back to first and 10 needing a 5 yard run to stay ahead of the sticks. Quote

Against Carolina they had some really good run calls against pass rush packages. What encouraged (or maybe fooled?) me against the Panthers was when we could run the ball and eat clock at the end, when they knew it was coming. Maybe confused is a better description! I thought “who are these guys?” Quote

Mat68 Posted December 23, 2021 Posted December 23, 2021 He doesnt need to ne Taylor to be effective. I dont need 30 plus runs either. Give 80% of the carries to Singletary. 15 to 20 a game is the right number imo. Quote
