qwksilver Posted December 22, 2021 Posted December 22, 2021 Did anyone see why they played both of these games at 7PM? Would it have gotten better rating had they staggered the start times? Quote

If the RB played the ball better, there would’ve been a lot of contact and the flag should’ve been thrown. Unless it’s egregious, you’re usually not gonna get the call if the ref doesn’t think you gave yourself a chance to catch the ball. I think that’s what happened to Diggs against Tampa, but it was probably egregious enough the call. But Diggs did himself no favors basically giving up on going for the ball. He practically plowed into the receiver. Quote

It was a terrible pass and the RB didn’t stop in time to force contact before the ball hit the defender in the back. Refs have called that PI more often than not, but i have no problem with that no call. Problem as always is the inconsistency. Quote

The defender chops at the RBs arms and gets him with the body before the ball gets there. The ball also never hits the defender in the back. It hits the RBs right hand as he's attempting to make the catch. Quote
