Xwnyer Posted December 22, 2021 Posted December 22, 2021 If I am the DC I draw up a five DL 3 lb scheme or 4 DL 4 Lb and 3 DBs covering . We ran something like this when I was in high school we called it monster defense. Our best defensive player either played on the line or LB based on the read. In high school never worried about QB stretching field similar to cheats* QB. I think Milano is perfect guy for this role since he can cover and has better instincts that Tremaine. Quote

They will come out throwing Sunday. No way Belicheat does the same thing he did the first game. 4 Quote

Not to mention every aspect of playing LB minus body type…..and tackling. I think they’re both equally meh in the tackling department on topic. No chance McD does this Edited December 22, 2021 by NewEra Quote

Belicheat is the best ever at what he does, as sickening as it is to have to admit that. They will do things we don’t expect. He always does. 1 2 Quote
ngbills Posted December 22, 2021 Posted December 22, 2021 It’s gonna be a lot of quick slants, screens, crossing patterns. Most college qbs can throw these passes let alone nfl. Still need guys that can cover. Quote

I agree mostly but Mac jr isn't ready to throw all the time so they will definitely throw more just not more than usual. This could be the game we use more 43 than 42. Quote

They will start with roughly the same thing as before and then have a whole set of other plays ready to go if we adjust, possibly disguised as the same plays. Play action passes, anyone? 1 Quote

JMF2006 Posted December 22, 2021 Posted December 22, 2021 There was nothing wrong with the game plan other than one blown play that resulted in a 64 yd scamper and TD. If they try to win like that again this week they will get crushed. Quote
Frostbite Posted December 22, 2021 Posted December 22, 2021 Pats will definitely throw more but I want McD/Fraizer to at least practice a run stopping package so theyre not completely unprepared like last time. Maybe not to the extent of the monster defense but I definitely wouldnt mind 4 DL and 3 LB's with Klein in there. Quote
atlbillsfan1975 Posted December 22, 2021 Posted December 22, 2021 Score points early and often and make McCorkle Jones throw the ball. Maybe McCorkle can keep up with the Bills. Nothing frustrates Belichick more than when his D gets shredded. Emotions then derail plans. Let’s see what the Pats score is when the Bills put up 38 like the last time they played in NE. Quote
