That sucks! and he made it all last season without a problem. This game is really starting to scare me because we could lose important guys before Sunday

Only players that get tested now are unvaccinated right? Unless there's symptoms.

Not quite.  Players in each position group are "randomly selected" for testing (regardless of symptoms) after which, even if asymptomatic, they're out.

With so many players falling onto the COVID reserve list, I think we all know who is about to get his opportunity:

Feliciano was in the ER on Sunday morning.  Dawkins was messed up over the summer (and may be now).  I know people who have been on a ventilator.  This thing is no joke.  So, eff football.  I hope a guy who has kids and who works hard in his profession and generally does the right thing stays healthy and lives his life without impairment when this is done.  Everything else is secondary.

While I personally disagree with Beasley's view on vaccinations, I agree with your sentiment.  I don't want to see any of these players (or anyone at all for that matter) sick with COVID.  I'm really looking forward to a time when COVID is no longer an issue.  But that doesn't appear to be happening anytime soon.

Good thing he is vaxed so he will only miss one game worst case.

Seriously, I am concerned about a larger outbreak at OBD.....vaxed dont need tests, wonder how bad it is.  Hopefully we play this game with most of our players.

Who have we still got available at WR at this point? Diggs, Davis, Kumerow, McKenzie and Stevenson? It could be worse.

Not having a ‘true’ number 2 but having a lot of depth in the wr room could def pay off

Most likely every player, including Allen and all of the coaches will get it.  It's inevitable

I don't think it's "inevitable", but I think it's very likely given the NFL's change in policy to only test players with self-reported symptoms.

They are betting the season on the belief that asymptomatic players won't be contagious.

It's only Tuesday.

McKenzie in the slot maybe even can work a little Stevenson into the offense. Might have a lot of speed out there

Assuming they will be available because, right now, to assume any coach or player will be available is foolish.

I wouldn't be surprised if he actually is vaccinated. He sure as heck would not tell anyone if he was.

Hence I said “at this point” - it could get worse!

Same with me.  I disagree with certain views that he holds, and I’m frustrated by some of the stubbornness in some parts of our society.  But I would never wish ill on someone who simply has an opinion different from mine.  Football is secondary.  I sincerely hope the guy gets healthy, stays healthy, and that he and his family can enjoy Christmas.
