Gugny Posted December 20, 2021 Posted December 20, 2021 Personally, I think it's crazy that McKittrick was ever benched in the first place. He was a Top 3 Returner in the league and had ONE FUMBLE. Stevenson hasn't shown me much at all. I am a solid YES on this one. Interested to see the results of this poll. Go Beels! 1 1 3 Quote
TheFunPolice Posted December 20, 2021 Posted December 20, 2021 Yes, and put Mr. Speedy Stevenson on the field for go routes once in a while 2 Quote
Freddie's Dead Posted December 20, 2021 Posted December 20, 2021 You know I'm going with my boy McKittrick. Yes, he had a muff and the bad fumble, but he's a threat to house it every time he touches the ball. You don't see that with Muffquez Stevenson. 1 1 1 Quote
PetermansRedemption Posted December 20, 2021 Posted December 20, 2021 Absolutely. Mackenzie should get the job back. Stevenson has had an opportunity. I still think we never should have let Roberts walk. 2 Quote

McKenzie had that fumble in an awful weather game, and it feels like he has been punished for it way more than he deserved. 2 1 3 Quote
NewEra Posted December 20, 2021 Posted December 20, 2021 I’d rather have him back there as scary as that seems. One last chance. Quote
BuffaloBillyG Posted December 20, 2021 Posted December 20, 2021 No. My line of thinking is that Stevenson should be adaquit in a league that has made the return game a moot point 90% of the time. McKenzie could be better utilized with some snaps on offense and helping the offense move the ball. In a tight game when we may need that big return possibility I am not opposed to subbing him in for a possible big play. But I'd really limit his ST snaps to keep him fresh for offense. 2 Quote

The fumble TD against the Colts was laughably horrible. Don’t blame McD at all for benching him. Special teams turnovers are inexcusable. So, he was benched because he fumbled once and...what...3 years ago in Denver for the Broncos? Also, we signed him off the practice squad. 1 Quote
I'm Spartacus Posted December 20, 2021 Posted December 20, 2021 No sense arguing against "the process"! Quote
MJS Posted December 20, 2021 Posted December 20, 2021 I don't think it matters that much. Returns aren't a huge part of the NFL anymore. I would like to continue to see him involved in the offense, though. Quote
YattaOkasan Posted December 20, 2021 Posted December 20, 2021 Not mentioned was his misplay on the kickoff against WFT. I think he’s let it hit the ground on punts more than he should too. Happy to see him in the offense more 1 Quote
JerseyBills Posted December 20, 2021 Posted December 20, 2021 Definitely but I really like Stevenson for the future. He has great speed n acceleration and is shifty. Hopefully he can progress as a WR and get some playing time next year 1 Quote
Saxum Posted December 20, 2021 Posted December 20, 2021 Poll would make more sense when a player named McKittrick is signed. But I suppose it is a typo by Grungy and typos are okay. 1 Quote
Cheektowaga Chad Posted December 20, 2021 Posted December 20, 2021 I would rather have McKenzie involved in the offense over return duties 4 Quote

BigAl2526 Posted December 20, 2021 Posted December 20, 2021 (edited) I think the Bills should figure out if Stevenson can be a speed option at WR for the Bills. I don't mind if they give return duties back to McKenzie, but he should be on a short leash. The Bills ought to be looking at their options at slot receiver and speed receiver when Beasley and Sanders are gone. McKenzie has slot receiver potential while Stevenson has outside speed receiver potential. Whoever is not handling return duties ought to get a couple snaps a game and their ideal position on offense, at least late in games when there is little question about the outcome. VaMilBill Posted December 20, 2021 Posted December 20, 2021 I think Stevenson has actually done pretty well as a returner particularly on punts. He looks like he can actually break tackles and has just enough wiggle to get through traffic. id actually say he has done a very good job thus far. Quote
2020 Our Year For Sure Posted December 20, 2021 Posted December 20, 2021 I'm rolling with Stevenson. There's some ability there, he needs reps and hopefully his feel can get a little better with experience, then you've got something. McKenzie simply always makes me nervous and I don't want that in a returner. Quote
