Last week (or two weeks ago?) a similar thing happened in an Arby's; the employee apparantly shaved off his thumbprint into someone's roast beef sandwich

Damn, now every time I find a body part in my food, I have to worry about being called a liar or a cheater until an employee is located who lost the body part.

Life is getting so complicated.

I've actually eaten at that place many times - it is next door to a hotel I stay at many times when we go to the beach. It is a shame - it is great custard (although I've never tried the "Stubby Strawberry"). I hope the place gets through it OK. Still can't understand how when an employee notifies a manager that he chopped part of his finger off while preparing or packaging a batch, all the stuff the guy maybe even remotely came in contact with doesn't get destroyed.
