JoeF Posted May 3, 2005 Posted May 3, 2005 This one appears true...watch out fellow Tarheel State Residents.. .Frozen finger
Fezmid Posted May 3, 2005 Posted May 3, 2005 Last week (or two weeks ago?) a similar thing happened in an Arby's; the employee apparantly shaved off his thumbprint into someone's roast beef sandwich CW
USMCBillsFan Posted May 3, 2005 Posted May 3, 2005 Wilmington's only about 45 minutes down the road from me. This story was in the local paper today. It's true and the guys getting a lawyer.
Fan in San Diego Posted May 3, 2005 Posted May 3, 2005 Damn, now every time I find a body part in my food, I have to worry about being called a liar or a cheater until an employee is located who lost the body part. Life is getting so complicated.
mead107 Posted May 3, 2005 Posted May 3, 2005 had a finger nail in my hash browns at a place in buffalo one morning . should have hired a lawyer
MadBuffaloDisease Posted May 3, 2005 Posted May 3, 2005 This story makes me dis-custard (funnier if imagined with Bahstun accent).
stevewin Posted May 3, 2005 Posted May 3, 2005 I've actually eaten at that place many times - it is next door to a hotel I stay at many times when we go to the beach. It is a shame - it is great custard (although I've never tried the "Stubby Strawberry"). I hope the place gets through it OK. Still can't understand how when an employee notifies a manager that he chopped part of his finger off while preparing or packaging a batch, all the stuff the guy maybe even remotely came in contact with doesn't get destroyed.
