Seriously my jaw was on the floor. Josh doesn't really throw picks ND was victim of a NASTYYY play by Chinn (!!!), and they acted like we're having an awful season (we're not), and it's a Josh turnover problem (we're they on mushrooms???). Where in the h*** did that come from? Felt like they got handed a script!

And they showed his first two passes of the game, both of which were routine over throws, to illustrate his inaccuracy.  It was bizarre for them to do that. I get it if his first two throws were INT's but simple incompletions?  WTH!

And for the record after those two pedestrian incompletions on the first Bills possession and with the exception of the INT Allen threw the ball well in leading the Bills to 17 points.

I mean they barely touched on Allen's foot injury or that the O-line was completely disrupted by missing two starters to covid.

And as bad as Bradshaw was beating up Allen at halftime, he chose him as his player of the day after the late games. Make up your mind Terry!!

CYA as a flood of angry Bills mafia types were letting FOX know how bizarre that halftime analysis was.

Towards the end of the halftime segment Howie jumped in and tried to defend Allen. I think he realized just how stupid they were sounding.  And it still boggles my mind that they choose to show Allen's first two incomplete passes to start the game as if that meant anything to what happened the rest of the half.

Did he really? Wow I am surprised and give him credit for that. Typically he's myopic and stubborn... Good to hear (not that it matters really but...)

I didn't catch halftime but not surprised about Bradshaw.  He seems to have lost his fastball....its not at all clear he remembers what he said one week vs next week and what players are actually capable of.  It's like he is some casual fan TBD member, watches a play or two and makes a broad judgement on that.

Fixed 🤣

Kelly had Thurman Thomas and Kenneth Davis to score on the ground

And yet those Bills teams passed more than any team in the league at the time. The NFL has changed dramatically since then. Kelly’s total attempts from ‘91 would probably be around middle of the pack in todays NFL.

If there is anyone on earth who should be more sympathetic to a QB getting typecast and ripped and misunderstood early in his career it should be Terry Bradshaw.

Elway never won a SB until he got Terrell Davis. Marino never had a compelling RB.  Aiken doesn't win squat without Emmitt and that huge OL. Josh just needs to be a little patient and pray Beane absolutely loads up on the OL over the next 2 drafts and free agencies.

It’s very crazy to think that the most prolific passer in Bills history, running the most innovative and powerful offense only was able to throw for 32 Touchdowns.

he got to hand the ball to Thurman Thomas

An NFL MVP.. that takes touches and touchdowns away

I found it interesting when the broadcast team called Josh ‘a more mobile Rothlisberger’ when the guy he’s more like, Cam Newton, was playing in the same game.

He's way more athelitic than Ben. Much better passer than Cam ever was.

My favorite comparison for Josh has always been a larger John Elway.

Josh is a much more dynamic arm talent than Big Ben, but if the Bills get a more mobile Rothlisberger out of a QB that's a pretty dam good QB.

I was kind of surprised there was no thread about this, maybe I missed it.  Maybe it's my homerism that makes me more sensitive to it but they really do treat Josh like the red head step child of the NFL QB's.

Pisses me off:censored:

Someone last week captured it perfectly.

Josh has to ball out every game or the haters are right there to say I told you he sucked.

They can't accept that they were so wrong and continue to be wrong about Allen.

He’s a clown.  Mispronounces a lot of names when he does the rapid fire halftime highlights and then laughs about it.

Yet the National FOX halftime crew, Bradshaw and the other band of idiots, did nothing but belittle Josh.  They treat Josh different, always have, always will.  Just the opposite of how they treat say Lamar, Kyler or Mac.  F# them.

I saw that Bradshaw is like Kurt Warner he just can’t let go of hating Josh for whatever odd reason even Dak Prescott who has been atrocious since his injury even with all of Dallas skill talent gets a pass.

Josh has been responsible for 80 total touchdowns between last year and this year that number alone should shut these people up.
