Maybe we should not expect allen and the offense to go for 400+ yards a game with 5 tds and the defense to post a shutout and you can ask be happier with a win.

Come on. That's not fair. Thus far are you happy with the way the season is playing out? Has the team met your expectations? Be honest. Granted there is plenty of football to be played. Hopefully, the team will win out and excell in the playoffs.

Maybe we should expect a serviceable running game, a front four that can consistently generate a pass rush and stop the run, and an Oline that can protect our franchise QB. Funny how I read all the predictions on the Bills record. No one had the Bills 8-6 after 14 games. No one had them in 2nd place in the AFC East. No one had them fighting for a playoff birth. Let's be honest on this board. Go back and look at your predictions and expectations.

I've never made a prediction or stated my expectations for a season because anything can happen.

Expecting a perfect season is just asking to be disappointed.

You've stated a problem the Bills have. Everyone knows it so what's the point of complaining about it when they can't do anything about it at this point in the season?

A lot here love to move the goalposts to fit their narrative.

I saw a lot of 14-3 (or 13-4) predictions and certainly worst case scenario was another AFC Championship game.

Still think the SB is in play, but to say I'm happy how this season has played out, would be a lie.

The Offense I've stated numerous times is off (and then comes the blowback).  Diggs yep a 1,000 yards, but no where near the player he was last year.  Even Josh is making errors.

The defense is is bending and breaking at times and way too many long plays.

But again I still billieve.....

the OL is the biggest reason for the offensive issues. Also the goalposts are already moved back and don't determine a TD like the old days. The phrase needs to be moving the goal line.

The team is 8-6 and in 2nd place in the division. Fighting for their playoff lives. Is that what you a expected from this team when the season started? Imho, the criticism is warranted even if its not fun. If they win out then the team deserves accolades for gutting out a division title and going into the playoffs hot. I think most here had high hopes about winning a super bowl this season. Thus far, that seems to be a very tall order. The Bills weaknesses are in the trenches and its hard to win vs quality teams.  I don't think it's unfair to say that. Sorry if it doesn't feel good or isn't fun.

Last year we were these three things away from being 10-6

A Rams comeback falling short

A cam newton fumble on a last minute game winning (or at least forcing OT) drive

A close (field goal only) game with the Jets 18-10.

This year we are these 3 things away from being 11-3 at the moment with 3 games left:

An Allen "trip" away at the Titan 3 yard line to win

A crappy 9-6 field goal game against the Jaguars

A game winning drive falling short at the 15 yard line in a crazy windy game against the pats.

The team isn't drastically worse than last year. Did the ball not bounce our way in a few scenarios? Yeah. It happens. Is the Oline in need of work? Absolutely.

I don't mind criticism, but there is a distinct difference between criticism and just berating the team. Some posters here just love to berate the team and make silly definitive statements such as "weak and soft" and "can't compete with the tough teams" and it's like are you even watching?

Bills control their own destiny at this point in the division, so fighting for their playoff lives is a little dramatic.

They did what they needed to do and even was able to put up 31 points with a rag tag O Line

It was also against a decent D. I mentioned this last week but the Bills should handle business at home against the Panthers, Falcons, and Jets. One down and two to go. Of course it would be nice if the Bills can win the biggest game of the season this week. They do that then its most likely back to back division champs.

Needed the W. Caught a break with the kicker out. Hoping the Offense got a little mojo back. Panthers have a nasty D and we were able to put up points and move the ball.

Lets go to Foxboro and beat those guys

A close “FG winning affairs against the Jets”?

Bills dominated that game despite not being able to get into the end zone and won by 8 points.

The Bills are capable of beating anyone, agreed. The difference between this yea and last year is teams have caught on to what we are doing offensively, coaching and our offensive line has regressed.

We weren't even winning the game until 1:37 left in the 3rd quarter and even then it was only up by 2 points until 6:01 left in the 4th. The defense did step up and shut them down completely in the 2nd half. Just imagine if the offense wasn't able to get those field goals after the stops. Not a huge stretch. Much like the Jaguars game. This was against a terrible 2-14 team and if this Jets game was this year, people would be holding it as a prime example of the Bills offensive woes.

I do think the O line has regressed though and that is the reason for that difference.

Some of the trenches issues have been Covid related which was impossible to envision pre season…no way we lose to the jags if we had one or two more offensive linemen available.  That one loss becoming a win completely transforms the season…not to mention we got absolutely hosed against TB

Feel good.  Look how front runners have lost to teams that had bad records.    The Jacksonville game was the Bills stinker.

If I knew they’d be missing multiple offensive linemen nearly every game that’s a pretty easy prediction honestly 😂 I think we’ve honestly overperformed with how bad that unit has been
