Great win!  This was a must-win game against the best passing defense in football. We were super efficient in the red zone, and ran the ball when we needed. 
 

Defense and ST solid all the way around.

It tells us Spencer Brown is a certified head case & needs a good ol' fashioned ass whoopin in the locker room.

 

It also shows me that we CAN run the ball if we don't give up on it, and in fact, it may be a necessity if we have any prayer of making any noise in the playoffs. Otherwise, Josh will be running around like a chicken with his head cutoff after a few drives of constant pressure... because our pass blocking has been flat out EXPOSED.

We played Tampa @ Tampa, fought them to overtime, and lost because we got screwed by the refs.

 

We underacheived against Carolina, and secured a win that keeps our playoff hopes squarely in our hands.

 

Would you have prefered a performance like last week, with the same outcome?

 

We won.  I feel far better then I would have if they had lost.

We should feel good that we won by 17 points.  In the NFL that is a huge blowout.  It wasn't pretty all the time, but we did what we needed to do to get the W.  As far as I know we came away healthy and we are a win next week at NE from taking over 1st place in the AFC East.

Oline is a mess yes, but they did enough.  Good job with the run game.

Carolina has a damned good defense. We actually ran the ball well and scored 31. I feel pretty freaking good about it.

Considering that our QB may or may not have been 100% going in and our OL was a mess,  I feel pretty good about it.  I'm definitely not going to complain about a 17 point win.
