Cool story.  Thanks for sharing.

Context of the convo man…..not sure what you’re getting at here.   BB didn’t throw because he didn’t trust his QB to throw.  I don’t blame him.  Yes, it was a great decision…..and?

He probably didn't think any QB could throw that well in such weather.  He knows his QB isn't Josh Allen.   His plan was to run as long as he had a lead (which turned out to be the entire game) and let the Bills spin their wheels trying to pass their way back (50% completion for only 145 yards, only 3 points after the 1st Q).

Big armed QB in a passing game plan in that weather was a poor decision.  McD should not have trusted Josh to pass them to victory.

That HC looked at the weather report, adjusted his plan accordingly, never wavered from it, won the game.

Isn't that his job?  His coaching decision was the winning one.

Exactly.  Whether BB trusted his QB to throw or not, didn’t matter.  He didn’t need his QB to throw.  We couldn’t stop the run and lost the game.

Diggs drops a td he catches 9 out of 10 times...pats didnt win by just running..Bills lost the game by lack of execution and coaching decisions late

Or maybe he didn’t trust him soon enough.  Hard to say.  Handing off to Breida put us behind the 8 ball

Three straight drives into NE red zone.  One FG to show for it.   Sack or penalty stopped drives.  The Bills out played them in the second half.  Glass half empty vs half filled view of the game.   NE had 69 yards on three second half drives vs 173 by the Bills.

No question we have to execute better on offense too.  If we had done that, would have potentially forced BB into passing mode, which the Pats wouldn’t have preferred to do in that wind.

Yet all of that resulted in 3 points.  That's futility.

This all day long. No knock on Diggs here. We were gifted the victory three times in the fourth quarter and simply didn't execute. The Patriots did not run all over us. They simply always ran. I believe Sunday will be a reckoning as the (very angry) Bills reestablish their AFC East superiority.

If anything he should have trusted Josh to pass more. He was the only effective thing about the offense all game.

Bills adjusted too late vs BB. 3Q to 4Q they finally adjusted and let it rip.

Players and coaches need to adapt 1H to situational football and conditions!!

Players and coaches need to adjust after drives, not quarters. Belichick has been doing this since birth. Our dumbass coaches take forever to react.

Maybe you are redefining "effective"?

After the Bills TD in the 1st Q, Josh would drop back 25 more times, resulting in:

punt, punt, punt, FG, over on downs (missed FG), over on downs.

Weather looks great for Sunday

Partly sunny, with a high near 43. Northwest wind 6 to 10 mph, with gusts as high as 20 mph.

Weather that allows each QB to show us what he's all about is precisely what Bills fans should be hoping for.
