It's not really all that weird it's a new stadium they like putting it in the new stadiums when they can just like LA this year.

Yeah, but given the current state of officiating, and repeated suggestions that the NFL is in bed with Vegas, well, this isn't a good look for the league.

I don't think anyone thinks the NFL is in bed with Vegas. I think people think the NFL officials favor certain teams and players.

I'm betting there will be a lot of Super Bowls in Vegas. It's really the perfect place for it.

Until someone screws up majorly. Usually it's a quick business trip for opponents. 7 days before or whenever they get there for the SB is a lot of time for shenanigans.

I’m sure they would never dare to rig a game more than a couple blocks off the strip.

 

They are not worried about the look, in fact the league and networks are embracing the gambling aspect of things and trying to capitalize on it. 

 

Expect Vegas to be a regular on the SB circuit. It’s a city and stadium built for this kind if event and will be an amazing draw. The only SB I attended was in Minneapolis. A nice city, but certainly not the draw that Vegas is, especially in February!

I’m sure that weekend will turn out great for players behaving themselves. I know, you can find trouble anywhere, but the reputation and allure of Vegas will entice many to act foolishly.

why?

 

they give Super Bowls to new stadium cities in warm cities or domes.

 

new Orleans couldn’t host as planned because Marci gras conflict the same weekend do as SB.

Forget the Super Bowl in Vegas. I just checked future NFL schedules and the Bills might play there next year. Here is your 2022 Buffalo Bills schedule. As you can see AFC West for next year is TBD  on the road so it could be the Raiders.
