True but it never should have happened in the first place, zero excuse for that,  Looked like a play you might see in pee wee football, not the pros.  Funny how this "freak accident" happened to a players with an extensive fumble history. 

 

And no it is not terrible how fringe players are treated, that is why the are fringe players, by definition.  Diggs has "earned" he stature on the team, McKenzie not even close.
