Greg S Posted December 15, 2021 Posted December 15, 2021 (8) Rich Cimini on Twitter: "#Jets have been awarded international marketing rights to the United Kingdom, team announces. The UK will be their "second home," which means a big Jets presence in the UK, where owner Woody Johnson served as US ambassador. Sounds like they could have future games in the UK." / Twitter 1 Quote
SoCal Deek Posted December 15, 2021 Posted December 15, 2021 So the NFL couldn't market the Jaguars to London, even with the Owner's joint ownership of Fulham Football Club....and now they're going to try and sell the dumpster fire that is the NY Jets? What's next? The Bills are going to play games in Toronto? 😂 1 1 3 Quote
Greg S Posted December 15, 2021 Author Posted December 15, 2021 We must really hate them. We kicked their ass in 1776 and now we give them the Jets. If the Bills get scheduled to play there then that makes for a cool road trip. 3 2 1 Quote

So many great things to see and do. Free museums and galleries are always a treat. Pub culture is fun and food is the best. Borough Market is a food heaven and Portobello Market is always good times. ChrisWatson#21 Posted December 15, 2021 Posted December 15, 2021 I bet Bobby Kraft had a huge helping hand with this. They showed a piece during the Pats game of how he has helped the league expand. Heck come to think of it Josh indirectly owes part of his contract to that guy🤢 I feel terrible for Jets fans. Quote

DrDawkinstein Posted December 15, 2021 Posted December 15, 2021 Will they be called the Old York Jets? Or just the York Jets? 2 1 Quote
BuffaloBillyG Posted December 15, 2021 Posted December 15, 2021 We sent them they Jags and now the Jets? No wonder foreign countries hate us so much😂 Quote
freddyjj Posted December 15, 2021 Posted December 15, 2021 My advice is Bills take Ireland as the tailgating possibilities would be massive. Jameson, Guinness and folding tables. A match made in heaven! 1 1 2 Quote

Nextmanup Posted December 15, 2021 Posted December 15, 2021 The greedy scumbags who own this league would love nothing more than to make the NFL internationally as popular as it is in the USA. Why make billions when you can make hundreds of billions? 👎 Quote

Since1981 Posted December 15, 2021 Posted December 15, 2021 (edited) This International announcement must be just toothless PR junk. BUF is not with Canada. Vikes are (yaw, ya knuw Saskatchewan, eh). I expect BUF has the highest ratio of foreign fans of any team…. https://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2021/12/15/nfl-awards-international-marketing-rights-in-eight-countries-to-18-teams/ Edited December 15, 2021 by Since1981 Quote

They're an entertainment business whose goal is to make as much money as possible. This shouldn't be a surprise or an issue. Quote

Ralph really soiled the punch bowl with the Toronto adventure. Quote

Of course I was sporting my Bills gear. They said most folks are Sea Chicken or Bills fans there. They were all rooting for the Bills to beat the *Pats alas it didn't work out, but still. Go Bills!
