Where Josh Allen ranks among QBs with regard to benefitting from defensive pass coverage penalties

I don't trust these numbers. I went to this website and you can't breakdown the defensive holding penalties by pass play or running play. They're just by total or averaged per game. I can't figure out how they calculated these number. Go to the website yourself, see if you can do it.

Well now if you dont believe there's been some bias against the Bills, you not only have to ignore you lying eyes but cold hard numbers.

Is it true that DBs aren't called for holding if the QB is out of the pocket? Or am I wrong?Allen does that a lot?

PI is……..PI. Or at least it should be!  :censored:

That's one way to interpret the data.

Another would be to suggest that Josh doesn't often throw long enough to get coverage calls in his favor, or when he does, he doesn't throw accurately enough for the defender to have to take a penalty.

There's a TON of potential stuff going on in a simple statistic like that.

Don't draw a quick conclusion.

Not throwing deep is a good point. He has rarely thrown deep this season. He throwing bombs 5-6 times a game last year.

The NFL is still garbage though, 😆
