Beast Posted December 14, 2021 Posted December 14, 2021 Clearly, the Bills should sit him the rest of the season so he finishes first. Quote

Hits he wouldn’t tKe if the Bills had a run game not relying solely on him. Allen has the talent be good even when he does slow, (unlike the other 2QBs on the list) Right I said some of the hits 😂 a lot of these times he might be calling his own number too it’s hard to say. But there’s gotta be some sweet spot for the ‘correct’ amount of qb runs to still be efficient on offense especially since they can’t run block for sh*t this year. Without that extra dimension they had absolutely no chance in quite a few games this season. I’m sure it was a focal point last week because that bucs run d is ferocious you don’t see a lot of handoffs to rbs against them no matter who they are playing 10 minutes ago, Beast said: Clearly, the Bills should sit him the rest of the season so he finishes first. Haha right at some point you are giving up on a season where sure we’re not playing well at the moment but the roster is pretty win now..to protect a qbs long term health. There’s gotta be a sweet spot and it’s funny coming from arians with a 40+ year old slow ass qb behind one of the best offensive lines in the nfl ‘oh I wouldn’t do that’ they scooped up Mitch trubisky to give them a chance in a worst case scenario Edited December 14, 2021 by Generic_Bills_Fan Quote
hondo in seattle Posted December 14, 2021 Posted December 14, 2021 I agree, Josh is fantastic. But here's the sad thing. The reason we use him as a runner is because we need the extra blocker. When Josh hands off, we have 9 guys blocking for the back. And those 9 guys cannot get the job done. So we lot Josh run with 10 blockers in front of him. If we had a better OL, Josh wouldn't have to run so much. 2 Quote

What a gutsy season from him hopefully he gets a chance to do something special in the playoffs. Will it actually be him though most likely not It’s all pretty relative…look at the titans their whole offense runs through a rb and Derrick Henry got hurt. Josh’s qb carries got us right back into a huge game and we were literally an inch away from chasing you guys down for the division lol now it’s a very long shot. Crazy they lost the titans and bucs games by literal inches both those games felt very similar Arians has no answers for Allen....so he tried to defend himself by saying he would never run...I agree..he’s a Ronald McDonald... 1 1 Quote

Bucs gm deserves all the credit for building a roster talented enough to lure Brady…I don’t think arians is an impressive coach in any way and that comment was very foot in mouth lol Quote

What I mean is that Josh is a one man wrecking crew the same way the Elway was early in his career. Let's just hope that Allen doesn't have to wait to his mid 30's, like Elway did, to get his Terrell Davis. So we're the Broncos of the 80's? Quote
JoshAllin Posted December 14, 2021 Posted December 14, 2021 (edited) It's clear josh likes to run and a big reason I'm guessing is it's better than getting whacked behind the OL all the while gaining big yards Edited December 14, 2021 by motorj Quote

I find this bizarre, too. The only explanation I can think of is that they don't trust him because of ball security issues. But he's generally an effective back we should be able to rely on for 10-15 carries every game. Quote
Nextmanup Posted December 14, 2021 Posted December 14, 2021 Starting next year, I'd like to see Josh play defense as well. 1 Quote
