Josh in a boot after Tampa game (now says he's "good to go", no effects)

The Bills need to accept they are not winning a Super Bowl and sit Allen until he is 100%.  If that means his season is over then it is what it is.

God I hope this isn’t even close to the plan. This year should teach you nothing is a given from year to year. You need to go for it every chance you get because you might never get another chance. We need josh this week no matter what. We absolutely can’t lose this game. Can’t chance anything

Well the Bills have to think long term. If you can't win 3 of next 4 with the backup they are not a good football team.

I just don't want to mortgage the future so we make the playoffs. The Bills are not good enough to win the Superbowl. They are a 7-6 team.

The Bills have had worse OL than this one...also they played really well in 2nd half. Better pass protection and Singletary had some big holes

They do play well as long as the opposing team isn’t blitzing or running TE twists

Ha ha ha so a minor toe issue on the non plant foot and you want to sit him?  Did they sit Rodgers with his fractured toe on his non plant foot?

With the O-Line factor  part of the answer. I'm on the side letting him heal. Have Allen for 10+ years mean more. But if the coaches thinks he's ready for sunday, i'll trust them.

What nonsense are you even spouting? Bills aren't a good team of they can't win 3 of 4 games without their franchise QB?

I'm not convinced we can't get to the Super Bowl.

The AFC is a jumble. Titans and NE are the top seeds, along with Ravens.

Imagine this 3 game road:

Titans

Ravens

KC.

That doesn't sound impossible.

I mean they inexcusably traded maybe the best guard in football for a 6th rd pick and for some reason deiced Quinton Spain was not good enough after an all pro season.

C'mon Man.  Wyatt Teller was not the best guard in football when the Bills traded him before the 2019 season.  He was slightly better than Vlad Ducasse.

And when exactly was Quinton Spain an "all pro"?  If he and his agent could make a legit case he had an "all pro" season the Bills couldn't have signed him to the contract they did, and the Bengals couldn't have re-signed him late in FA for vet minimum.

Obviously in retrospect trading Teller was a bonehead move, but at the time the most fervent reaction was objecting that the Bills were trading a young developmental guard to keep a bunch of older journeymen, and the reason made sense at the time (Morse out with concussion, wanted to be sure we had a good center)

And let Ritchie incognito go , all stupid moves

It was stupid to let Ritchie go after he was retired, then unretired, then attacking a dude at a Florida gym and telling police officers he worked for the NSA? Or wanting to cut off his father's head?  C'Mon man.  The dude was batshit cray-cray.

Guy was out of football entirely that season trying to chase the cooties out of his cranium. He later admitted he was coming to Bills OL meetings drugged or drunk and phoning it in at times the previous season, which is why the Bills asked him to take a pay cut.  And he's not helping the Raiders at present - he's been on IR for them since mid-August with a calf injury

The revisionist history around here is nutsoid sometimes.

I’ve been thinking this all throughout, just need to get hot, what better time than now? They have the horses, just need to put it together.

details of injury and timeline of foot sprain

Hopefully this is just a Grade 1 sprain. By these accounts it appears to be so. I highly doubt Allen misses this game with so much on the line. Tomorrow will be a big day to see if he’s out practicing again.

Lol. The spirit of the argument vs. the letter of the law.

But you be you.

And no rebuttal for the statistical evidence of Welker's talent level? I am disappointed.

The post I was responding too said, specifically, that Brady left because of the WR issue (NE has struggled to find a true #1).  That was the argument I was answering.

Welker had great stats in NE.  Not so much on his other 3 teams.

The banged up bills guy seemed so think he wouldn’t be out there until Friday. I think he will be limited but out there every day

Looks like just like it was in the 90's when Buffalo went to four straight Super Bowls thanks to being in the incredibly weak AFC. In those years, the real Super Bowl was the NFC Championship game. Heck, there were probably five teams way better than Buffalo in the NFC who's fan base had to watch an inferior team playing in the Super Bowl (Dallas, Washington, Green Bay, San Francisco, Giants) were all better than Buffalo. Fast forward, 25 years and here we go again. Not a single 10-win team in the AFC while the NFC has three and another two with nine wins. While KC has 9 wins, they have also already played 8 games at home. NE is 7-1 against the AFC but only 2-3 against the NFC. Tennesee seems to be the only comparitively strong team in the AFC but come on, Ryan Tannenhill  is going to win a Super Bowl? This has to be the year for the Bills....they have been handed a cupcake schedule within a cupcake conference so they better make the most of it.

It’s the better game to miss. Their O will cough the game up for you and you only need someone back there who isn’t going to do anything dumb.
