Kaenon Posted December 13, 2021 Posted December 13, 2021 I think next year will be a huge year for Gabe. Quote
davefan66 Posted December 13, 2021 Posted December 13, 2021 Davis needs to play more for sure. Really played well today with extended time. Sanders needs to play less. Seems to stunt the offense when he’s in. Not sure why, but Josh seems to forget about others when he’s in. Diggs, Beas and Davis need to be our go-to receivers. 1 Quote

We really need to see him more on the field .. one of many things that mystify me about this team... That play gave me a heart attack. 37 minutes ago, Beast said: That's good because all his d-line picks are hitting into double plays. Rousseau's had some FC's.... Quote
GymShorts84 Posted December 13, 2021 Posted December 13, 2021 He’s what everyone wanted Duke Williams to be. Quote
Captain_Quint Posted December 13, 2021 Posted December 13, 2021 Sanders went out with a knee injury, so that may finish his season. Davis has earned his stripes so far in his first 30 games. Quote

CSBill Posted December 13, 2021 Posted December 13, 2021 Davis should have had a starting role a long time ago. I like Sanders, but he has taken time from Davis. Davis is better. 1 Quote
billsbackto81 Posted December 13, 2021 Posted December 13, 2021 I like Sanders but he just wasn't needed. An unnecessary luxury if you will. That 7 mil could have been spent on a established pass rusher, established O lineman or established CB. Gabe had the WR2 spot covered after his rookie year. 1 1 Quote
TUBSTER Posted December 13, 2021 Posted December 13, 2021 Maybe it was scheme, adjustments, or play-calling, but did anyone else think that the offense was better when Sanders was off the field? Davis seems to come up big in every opportunity he finds himself in. 1 Quote
BADOLBILZ Posted December 13, 2021 Posted December 13, 2021 He got two yards after a catch. That was good but Tampa's receivers were stacking YAC yards all game. The Bills badly need a fast, elusive target in their WR corps that can make a play after the catch. BADLY. Allen played great but still ended up with less than 6 yards per pass attempt cuz these guys got no juice. Beasley, in particular is having a pathetic yards per reception season. Almost impossibly bad. Gabe isn't going to be that RAC guy. 1 1 Quote

It's the reason why still don't understand his signing (Sanders) back to off-season. When Davis in there offense is clearly way better. Davis has heart and run block as well. Maine-iac Posted December 13, 2021 Posted December 13, 2021 Sanders has spent most of his career in the slot so I'm not sure why he got moved into an outside spot where Davis is clearly much better. Sanders should be inside spelling Beasley and finding holes in the zone or running crossing routes. At least this is one thing they seem to have figured out. 1 Quote
TampaBillsJunkie Posted December 13, 2021 Posted December 13, 2021 Gabe instead of Sanders for the rest of the year. Sanders knee issue may open that door, but Davis is clearly more physical and has better hands. Sanders runs better routes but we already have that in Diggs and Beas. We need some size and physicality outside of Knox catching balls. 1 Quote
Nextmanup Posted December 13, 2021 Posted December 13, 2021 He's 6'2" and 210 lbs and physical. He got that huge first down today fighting for every inch. Is there another receiver on this team who makes that same play? 1 Quote
ChronicAndKnuckles Posted December 13, 2021 Posted December 13, 2021 By signing Sanders, they stunted the development of Davis who was one of my breakout players this year. He's one of our only WRs besides Kumerow w/ actual size. I don't get why they're holding him back when everytime he's on the field he produces and makes clutch catches. Beanie actually drafts a good offensive player and they refuse to use him. It's mind boggling. Quote

BillMafia716ix Posted December 13, 2021 Posted December 13, 2021 Davis is a beast. I called it last season. Sanders wasn’t really a need for us. Instead of trying to fix our running game they went and signed another WR. Go figure that one. Quote
