No matter how well the play is covered by the CB the throw is pre-determined. And fades are always lower percentage plays. With that play call on the most critical 3rd down of the game you are basically neutering the most dangerous red zone QB in the league by taking away what makes him dangerous, his arm strength and mobility. Anyone can just throw a fade... give me a play call that takes advantage of the athletic freak we have playing QB. If the passing window isn't there he'll find a way. Allen isn't elite because of his ball placement on fades... It is a low percentage play call. I would trust Allen on a RPO over that 100% of the time. The dude was in the middle of willing his team to victory and we called the most vanilla red zone play in the book. With Derek Carr as my QB, sure. With Allen we should expect better. We don’t really know that was the primary route though do we? That was just too good of a matchup not to exploit. Tough to pin it on the offensive coordinator when refs blow something so badly. Just keeping it real & not trying to find things that have a simpler, more realistic, explanation. I've seen plenty of games in a variety of sports where the refs are afraid to make calls in the final minutes that can win the game for the team behind. As I said, they're cowards, not game fixers.

More likely to be the case when it will be against the home team?

Chicken Boo
The Bills never complete the comeback against the Oilers without some questionable officiating. Who knows what goes through some of these refs heads, but it's always been there. Super Bowl XXVI (Bills-Skins) and XL (Steelers-Hawks) come to mind. When it's goes in favor of your team we shrug, when it's against, we're pissed. It's the game.

Loved the game, loved the outcome, will be the first to admit the refs screwed the Oilers.
BassToMouth
Brady scores 33 points to go 33-3 all time against Buffalo. Not to mention Demaryius Thomas just died this past week at 33. If you know, you know. Some of you on here do, which is awesome. Quite a few have messaged me personally. So for all of you Mensa members who apparently know everything, there are more of us than you probably realize.

Reich also has the biggest college come back ever at Maryland right? Or close to? Its actually beyond hilarious if you dig into these players’ backgrounds. Brady especially. I mean, do any of you know his ‘dad’ is worth roughly 3.1 billion? And also did significant work with NFL films as far back as the 60s? How many interviews and docs have their been about tommy and pops without this being mentioned. It never comes up. He’s basically presented as a Josh Allen type, yet his dad was filthy rich and worked for the NFL. Mac Jones is equally interesting, which is why I knew the slightly better than mediocre Patriots would ascend to the top by the end of the season. Don’t dismiss and talk ***** if you haven’t put in any time and effort into learning anything about this league and their players and the powerful people who run it. Didn't know about Tom Brady Sr. How in the world is he worth $3B and that is never talked about and literally zero mainstream articles are written about it? Insane. Even in his pictures, the father has that Bob Kraft billionaire vibe.

It’s amazing how many people have this naive, idealistic mindset of the world that flies in the face of all human history. “But most people are generally good!” Umm..no they’re really not. It’s willful ignorance. The refs are human, that’s their excuse? Unreal. Oh gee wiz you missed 10 calls today and made 10 more that didn’t need to happen, but you’re just human. Yea that’s how multi billion dollar businesses approach critical aspects of their operation. 1 hour ago, Olliemets said: People like you are the best. The above is the extent of your discourse. Tom Brady senior is not worth 3.1 billion. I know it is on the internet but it is not true. He was an insurance salesman so 3.1 million is possible, maybe even 31 million but he is not worth 3 billion.
