I wanted the field goal in Tennessee. Even if we get the first it did t mean a td all it did was assure a loss Quote

The Bills defense is prone to give up big plays like that. I don’t know why it keeps happening. They were selling out to stop a first down and had a terrible match with a MLB on a WR. Quote
Maine-iac Posted December 13, 2021 Posted December 13, 2021 My other point I've beaten like a dead horse to no avail .................. in wins Singletary 73 carries and 327 yards. Losses Singletary 35 carries and 168 yards. The more carries Singletary gets the better chance we have of winning. Not because we are a great running team but because running the ball opens up the passing game more. 1 Quote
BernieBill Posted December 13, 2021 Posted December 13, 2021 It's fine Sun Tan, we can agree to disagree on it ... just score a TD at the end of regulation and win the game, that's my solution. 1 Quote

It's funny to me how many eyerolls this comment has attracted ... I guess "blame the refs" is really what a lot of Bills fans think after this loss. I appreciate the feedback 1 Quote

Allen threw it within a couple of feet and Diggs seemed surprised it was that close. As it happened live I said to my son why did he stop? It was an unbelievable throw by Josh under pressure 2 Quote

Ok then. I think better coaching decisions and better play by the players at crucial moments was more important to the outcome than "the refs." The thing is the playing field in that game was clearly uneven…buccaneers dbs were objectively getting away with more holding than we were…so that makes it more difficult to get better play in the crucial moments. 1 1 Quote

Not because we are a great running team but because running the ball opens up the passing game more. yes and no. This is really misleading. By the Bills Totally abandoning the run today in the first half, it really opened up the wide zone runs in the second half. Bucs defense was 100% playing the pass. If we had come out more balanced, DS wouldn’t have had nearly the same success. i think what they did today— pass like 80% of the time and run to keep the rushers honest— is the right formula going forward. 1 Quote

Logical - against Tennessee our defence was constantly being shredded so we might as well try and win on offense in normal time. Tonight, the defense seemingly had the Bucs number so was less of a gamble. Of course, we had the dubious call on offense, plus a couple of poor plays, and then Edmunds… Quote

Yes we should have had a first down on the 20 yard line if PI is called, field goal at least. Quote
