stuckincincy Posted May 2, 2005 Posted May 2, 2005 If you haven't read the books, don't bother. If you have, it was a nice presentation of a literary body of witty works that gathered quite a following. The Marvin and Point-Back Gun scene was hilarious. The actress playing Tricia McMillian (Trillian) was quite attractive. Alan Rickman was well-cast as Marvin - good casting all around. All in all, I was surprised at the good job done with an "Improbalble" script. Perhaps, I babel...or fish. "42"
Wacka Posted May 3, 2005 Posted May 3, 2005 I have read that Douglas Adams had written the first few drafts of this script before he died in 1999.

Although, as the following states, it is unclear how his untimely death will affect the screenplay: http://movies.yahoo.com/shop?d=hp&cf=prev&id=1808404419
