JohnNord Posted December 11, 2021 Posted December 11, 2021 I only wish they had camera in the facility for this interaction: During a staff meeting, Meyer delivered a biting message that he's a winner and his assistant coaches are losers, according to several people informed of the contents of the meeting, challenging each coach individually to explain when they've ever won and forcing them to defend their résumés. He’s got retreads on his staff like Darrel Bevel and Brian Schottenheimer and a bunch of nobodies. I’d love to hear them justify why they are winner! Not surprised that Urban is struggling in the NFL. This is what happens when a big time coach who is used to being worshipped in college jumps to the NFL. 4 minutes ago, Nextmanup said: Josh's QB rating of 27.2 for the game didn't help matters... dave mcbride Posted December 11, 2021 Posted December 11, 2021 He benched robinson for a fumble and lawrence apparently confronted him mid-game about it: https://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2021/12/11/report-urban-meyer-had-heated-argument-with-marvin-jones-called-his-assistant-coaches-losers/ I of course thought of McDermott, who seems to think fumbles should never, ever happen (news flash: they do) and if they do the back has to go to the doghouse. I know a lot of coaches do this, but it’s pretty reactionary assuming the player isn’t a problem fumbler. 2 Quote

Just disgusting 🤢🤢 If that is true about Meyer having a meeting with his own support staff, calling them all losers, propping himself up as a winner, and then challenging them all to "argue their thesis" as to why they are a winner... All I can see is what a total scumbag. He's supposed to be "religious" too, right? LOL Edited December 11, 2021 by Nextmanup 1 2 Quote
