AD, isn't it ironic that in NYS, motorists must wear their seat belts in a car but are at the same time allowed to ride a motorcycle?

I am guessing that the insurance companies have something to do with this. :blink:

In a cruel twist of economics, motorcycle helmets are cheaper in States that require them than those that don't, since the manufacturers and retailers must compete.

 

I'm not a fan of helmet laws...the gene pool thing...

 

BTW, in the so-called "full-face" helmets prevalent these days, the proper term for the portion below the visor is the "beaver", from knight's helmet construction.
