Ethan in Cleveland Posted December 7, 2021 Posted December 7, 2021 Maybe I'm not seeing what you are. The first "drop" could have been a one handed grab but the pass could have been better. He was completely stretched out and just barely got a hand on it. The other plays were pass break ups by the defender. He also made some great grabs and one really nice run after catch. 2 1 3 3 1 Quote

Diggs dropped an easy touchdown, and on the 3rd and 14, Diggs just flat out stopped on the play, leaving Knox as Josh's only option. If Diggs showed just a little bit of effort, we would have had a 4th and 5. Diggs was just as bad, if not worse. 2 Quote

Sorry man, but I Def didn't see it that way Early in the game on a 3rd and like 14, Josh threw a laser right into his numbers The 1st drop on the 1st drive, hit him in stride, both hands. Not to mention a costly redzone penalty. He did make a couple decent short grabs, but the misses outweighed it. 4 1 Quote
gordong Posted December 7, 2021 Posted December 7, 2021 Knox was not why this team lost…. Not even close….all the girls that play defense are why the Jill’s lost 1 1 Quote

I'll have to watch it again, and I know the pass wasn't perfect, but he should have caught that ball IMO. We also needed him to grab that catch in the end zone. Go get the ball and physically dominate space around the ball at the point of contact. He didn't do anything close to that. I really like Knox and he has really blossomed this year, but he had a garbage night. Edit: almost forgot his pre-snap penalty for false start. Edited December 7, 2021 by Nextmanup 3 Quote

Brandon Posted December 7, 2021 Posted December 7, 2021 Yeah, I agree. The defender made a nice play on a couple of those. The only one that was uncontested was the first one, and that one would have been a difficult catch. Disappointing, but doesn't change my opinion that he's becoming a good player for them. Quote

The one I am disappointed in the most was the one in the endzone. He is so much bigger and stronger than the DB. You wish he could make a play. 4 Quote

Beyond McDermott and the entire Bills run D, he is the single biggest goat of this game and it's not really close Edited December 7, 2021 by buffblue 4 1 Quote

That was the one that I was hoping once he got his hands on it he secures the catch. But you see it all the time. The defender punches the ball out. Quote

Livinginthepast Posted December 7, 2021 Posted December 7, 2021 Knox is playing like a guy who broke his hand a few weeks ago. Maybe its hurts still, maybe the coordination isnt there, maybe he is gun shy about breaking it again? 1 Quote

Looked like it hit him in both hands so not sure how it could have only been a “one-handed catch” as you put it. But if you want to be his apologist tonight go ahead I guess? He’s just another guy. I’m happy he’s improved this year but when you start out at an abysmal 19% drop rate, there’s really no where to go but up. 1 Quote
