Someday, we might build towards that again.
Forget blaming the backs, there are zero gaps open.

Defense? Well, still soft on the line, after all of those premium picks.

FFS NO! NO!

We needed to throw MORE than we did; it was the only successful thing we did tonight.

The fact that we refused to try is a major reason why we lost.

Well…the backs deserve plenty of blame. They just aren’t that good. Any holes that are there get closed off quickly cause they don’t have the speed to get there. They are a liability and Beane deserves a lot of criticism for not trying to find a playmaker there. Yes he signed breida, but he is only on a one year deal and he has obvious issues.

I agree 100% our team does not know how to open running lanes they just expect these guys to do it on their own.  Credit to the Patriots they worked on their running game and blocking all week long you could tell and it paid off our team God knows what they did looks like nothing. This team is soft.

Or just PLAY your game. Stop trying to be something you are not. Josh had NO issues throwing in this wind.

Oh my goodness

This is groundbreaking. Take a seat and a few deep breaths. It should pass before too long.

Agreed. What was Leslie thinking? How many total passes did the Pats throw and yet we didn't stack the box with DL? Stop the run and make them throw should have been obvious pregame and certainly once the run got out of hand. We can't run or stop the run.  Until we can, Josh and the Wrs are going to bein a difficult scenario.

Frazier needed 3 quarters to figure out to send Milano through the gap when the guard pulls

No Sh*t! That pissed me off. All game they just gashed us and we knew they were going to run. It was so frustrating to watch.

No, failing to stop the run is the biggest reason we lost. Tough conditions for the pass dependent offense. No way the Pats should score any points throwing the ball less than 5 times!

Not all the time, but I agree....we suck.

We can't run the ball with our RB's. We haven't been able to for two seasons now. Moss and Singletary are not the answer. One has to be traded or released and one needs to be a change of pace guy. We need to try and get a difference maker in the Draft or FA this season. I don't want to hear again this offseason that they can take a step or "if the blocking is better".

Singletary has average shiftiness, below average speed, below average power. Moss has below average shiftiness, below average speed, and decent power.

When we need them to carry a game like today, they consistently can't. We celebrate a 17 yard run once a game like it's a home run TD or a 100 yard game. Meanwhile, every RB we play outclasses them. Week in and week out. This core just is nothing special.

19 rushes, 60 yards from our RB's on the day.

On the hole he didn’t, but he got lucky on one pass.. Jackson normally catches that and runs it back for 6. But on the hole his throws were good when he had time.
