It was absolutely catchable. The defender made a better play. Knox needs to step up and make the play, period. Especially in light of all of the other plays he screwed up.

The Pats had exactly two completions tonight and one of them was a better catch than any catch a Bills player has made this year. I'm just sick of these games where Allen makes ridiculous play after ridiculous play and no one else on offense wants to do the same.

Ya, Knox plays really small. Most TE’s would’ve pulled that in and caught it with their hands.

The D actually wasn’t terrible.  10 stops on 12 3rd downs.  Have the offense great field position time and time again.  One big play where we didn’t close the gap.  But this was not a loss due to the defense.  This was a lack of offensive execution

This was total team loss

they threw the ball 3 times and still scored enough to win in horrible conditions…. Defense was a big part of this loss no matter what y’all want to say

I saw him running, adjusting to the pass. Ball hit his forearm

coming over his shoulder from behind...its not like he was able to run past the ball..stop....turn around and then attack it.

This game comes down to it again, costly turnovers and stupid mistakes again.  Josh missed critical passes to open receivers when we needed them the most.  Our receivers dropped the balls they needed to catch at a crucial times in the game. Our Defense can't stop the run to save their damn lives.  Our LB's are pathetic.  IT IS A EMBARRASEMENT TO LOSE TO A TEAM MAKING ONLY 3 PASS ATTEMPTS.   Every coach on the Bills side line needs to be taken out to the wood shed for an a** whooping.

If that's Gronk a yellow flag comes gleefully floating in 4 seconds after the whistle for DPI and Brady makes his little point forward signal and it's 1st and goal from the 1

Yep...100%...But The way Josh was throwing it they still could not manage much, and then were chasing down and distance again...The throw away plays are killers because it cuts down the margin of error...

Anyway...I agree...

I’m with you I said the same thing week 1 when everyone was pleading for more running plays to rbs. Do whatever it takes to score points there’s no style points

That’s an awful take. Hoodie’s entire game plan was to stop Josh from running. That was pretty apparent in the first minutes of the game by the pressure and spying. He had nowhere to go at any point.

Was it though? We cant possible know that if the QB never actually had a designed run. You had first and goal on the 6, your only effective runner is your qb, but you give it to one of your mediocre running backs for a 1 yard run. Worst case is Allen gets no gain, thats basically what happened. This team runs through Allen and Daboll tried to make him throw in the wind and not challenge them with the possibility of the run. Also he goes 5 weeks without calling a jet sweep when they have been effective. He has been bad. Really, REALLY BAD.

We miss John brown and his ability to scare teams with the speed downfield. It let Diggs and Bease work underneath at will. Sanders doesn’t scare anyone with his five yard routes.  We need to revamp the Oline and get some legitimate speed at wideout.

Easy peasy. The Bills may have been gashed on the ground but the damage was minimal. The game was lost by offensive players, to include our kicker, not coming up big in big situations.

This completely misreads what happened tonight.  The damage the Pats did to the Bills on the ground WON THE FREAKING GAME for them.  Again people ignore that in a wind game like this the Pats were able to steal possessions and field position by holding onto the ball for a couple of long drives.

He has been terrible all year. The games we lost have often been terrible offensive displays (minus the Titans game). He calls Jet sweeps one game, ignores it for the next 5 games. Calls QB runs, you don't see those runs for weeks at a time. This game he calls no QB runs. In a game where the wind is a disaster, he doesnt run the ball with the only effective runner on the team. It is a joke how bad hes been this year. I wish someone hired him so we had someone who cares more about winning than calling cute plays.

Fair point. It did take him till the Jets game (the week after the Jags fiasco) to even try to bring Allen under center, use a power running formation, etc. even though it was abundantly obvious by October that the offense had become far too pass happy.

If that’s Gronk and Brady the game probably doesn’t even get to that point because those two roughing-the-passers are called.

Guys on the other side make great plays too. The coverage was great.

Sure. I expect Knox to make the play instead. We drafted an athletic freak at TE to make plays like that. The ball hit his hands. Secure it. It wouldn't have been a highlight reel catch.

In a game where the wind was clearly a factor, maybe calling misdirection and qb runs would have helped. The RBs have been bad all year and every single person in this forum knew they wouldnt be effective today. Daboll is just too "smart" for his own good. He thinks hes the smartest dude in the stadium but he is a moron. He has been awful all year.

He was already completely leveled by Judon and got up slowly and then was launched into the tenth row on that sideline run and was holding his arm like it was dislocated.

Are you for real?

The jet-sweep was figured out last year. It doesn’t work anymore. No one runs it.
