The AFC doesn't really have any teams good enough for the playoffs this year, if the bills beat the pats then they instantly look like the team to beat and maybe one other team is the colts but still not sold on them. billsfan89 Posted December 6, 2021 Posted December 6, 2021 This game is going to determine if the Bills are contending for the division and an AFC top seed or are the Bills going to be just hoping to get into the playoffs? Quote
gjv001 Posted December 6, 2021 Posted December 6, 2021 Don't know about you, but I hate the idea that the weather will have a major impact on tonight's game. Never was pro domed stadium, but now I'm having second thoughts. Quote

We've played some big ones, but I don't ever remember this much on the line. Well, I was in attendance at the Bills - Pats playoff game in December 1963 that decided the Eastern Conference champion. I dare say that game was bigger - and it was much much colder too, lol (21 degrees, relative humidity 77%, wind 11 mph, wind chill 9). I also hope for a much different outcome tonight! 1 1 Quote

Billl Posted December 6, 2021 Posted December 6, 2021 Tonight’s game will determine the outlook of this board for the next week. Win, and the topic is getting the bye. Lose, and the topic is missing the playoffs. Here’s hoping for a tie. 1 Quote

But in a month, we could be back on top the division. At some point, we'll start to view Patriots games in a "normal" way. But 2 decades IS a long time. A sweep last year is a good start, but it will be a process. Trust the process. I’ll be disappointed if we lose and BBFS will sink in a bit but you’re right, we could be back on top. As long as we beat the Falcons, Panthers, jets and pats the 2nd time we’ll be fine. 1 1 Quote

That would be nice if WE exceled under those conditions, but we practice indoors, commit a lot of penalties, don't have a good run game, and rely almost exclusively on passing. Bad weather also increases the chances of turnovers, and we haven't been great in that area recently either. In our last 4 games, Allen has turned the ball over 8 times. In the first 7 games, he only turned it over 4 times. Worse weather isn't going to make it easier. I'm not saying this to hate on JA or the team, rather that I hope for as good of weather as possible for as long as our team is built this way. Quote

We are 5th at 7-4 and with the wins of Pitts and KC all the four ahead of us in the Conference standing are 8-4. Winning tonight would be beyond than huge… i can say crucial for our moment and season expectations. After yesterday scores tonight we can’t really miss the chance to regain the lead the Division first and the credit in the Conference and League. We are the better team ? Everybody here think yes, me too, but almost everybody here is really worried about the tonight result. Josh and company will feel the high stake too… i really hope they will be able to play in control of their emotion, using all their energies on the field playing a great and smart game, don’t having any regret at the end. The refs ? Well… let’s stop to think little and start thinking big, we can control our future tonight and playing a great game won’t let the refs control it. But we must play a very smart game, without stupid mistakes. We play at home, in our house, supported by almost 70k great fans, the very best in sport, let’s make this day a day to remember like the ones of the Marv, Kelly and Bruce time. LET’S GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO BILLSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS ! Let’s make us proud of you guys !!!!!!! Buffalo has no run game and this weather screams who runs it best wins. So I am not with you that for sure we are the best team here tonight. Jones has 3 RB to hand off too. Quote
