New Notre Dame HC Marcus Freeman is a Buffalo Bills Alumni…sort of

I was reading up on Notre Dame’s recently named head coach head Marcus Freeman and saw that he had a brief career in the NFL.  One of his stops was in Buffalo:

 

Buffalo Bills

Freeman was signed to the Buffalo Bills practice squad on September 22. He later was released in early October.

 

You can put him along with Kliff Kingsbury in the category of former Buffalo Bills alumni…sort of

Should be a GREAT game in Glendale. ND offense vs Oklahoma State's defense (best in the NCAA IMO).

Can't help but think that the drought would have ended right then in 2009 had we activated Freeman and sent Maybin to the practice squad. Guess we just had too much invested in Maybin.
