No.  He will not publicly criticize him bc that gets us absolutely nowhere.  What is that going to accomplish?  Putin sees Ukraine just as corrupt, bad, and worse - propped up by America since the Cold War ended we’ve meddled in its elections and Putin needs to hear what a thug he is??

He’s part of negotiations.  He’s the leader of Russia whether we like it or not.

And forcing “changes” to that effect - what do you think that’s going to do to the Anti American contingency in Russia?  What will that cause the next leader of Russia with its nukes to do?

Meanwhile - yep.  This war is Covid:

The war will end when Russia ends the invasion. It is Putin’s decision, nothing more. Something you seem to be conveniently ignoring.

What part of this do you not understand?

Do you think Putin is giving back the occupied or seized territories in the East?  Or Crimea?

Putin is getting those lands nothing we can do that doesn’t create a longer drawn out and wider war.

you mean we can stay in an ignore it should it come into play?  if that's the case then we should just leave  what would Putin do?

Of course we, nor anyone else, would ignore aggression. That's just silly. Are we ignoring any other conflict in the world?

It's not necessary any longer. It served its' purpose, which existed in 1949.

No.  But if we see the writing on the wall Europe is trying to force us into a wider conflict with Russia bc they cannot beat them then yes, we are done with Europe.

Europe needs to grow up and protect themselves now. Cripes, it's been 75 years.

Putin responds that this war goes on unless he keeps Crimea and the Donbas.

Because that’s obviously the base minimum he wants for a peace exchange.

Your desire is then… what?

More American tax dollars and weaponry to Ukraine until they run out of bodies?

Or

US troops on the ground in Ukraine fighting Russia in WWIII?

Those are your two options given your stance.

So, pick one and go on record with what your choice is.

Then take them back. They are not his.

The US and EU continues to fund Ukrainian resistance. Give them whatever they like. Whatever it takes.

This clearly isn't happening and for good reason.

And what happens when they run out of bodies?

I understand you hold zero empathy for fathers, sons and brothers being ripped from their homes and a sent to hell on earth, but they will run out of bodies.

I have nothing but respect for the men dying for their country in the face of foreign hostile aggression.

China is and should be our focus today. I'm most interested in our strategic alliances with India and countries in and around the South China Sea.
