Gentlemen, I have to sign off.  Just want to emphasize that no Magas out there apparently support Ukraine.  Not one definitive "yes" to we support Ukraine, you know with actual support (money and/or weapons).  I know, "our thoughts and prayers go out to the Ukranian people."

Yes I know this.

Also,

China and Russia wouldn’t hesitate to use them against us.  But go Ukraine for the “Big Guy!”

To me, the most alarming thing I heard from Zelenskyy yesterday was this:

"But you have nice ocean and don't feel now, but you will feel it in the future."

Was that a prediction or a threat?

By a "threat" I mean this: is Zelenskyy fomenting a nuclear showdown with Russia so that the futures of Ukraine and the United States are inextricably intertwined?

Trump told Zelenskyy he had no cards to play... but maybe Zelenskyy thinks a nuclear showdown is his royal flush.

This is my concern.

I don't understand why the Democrat/Media Complex does not see how Zelenskyy is eager to play with the lives of all Americans.

I take it back.  My bad, you're right.  You might not be a "Russian apologist".  What is your position on the current criminal Russian aggression against a peaceful country?

Also, what is your position against the criminal Russian aggression that seeks to not only fornicate, rape, own, and subject Ukranian women and children to the whims of the invading power?  (I'll wait...)

"I serve the US"...really, you think I'm dumb enough to answer that question on this board??  :)

Didn't like it, we rebuked them for the past 3 years and it hasn't helped much.  Cutting Ukraine's loses is probably the best path forward at this point.

Considring that you can't have an original idea here so you have to continually post BS from the interwebs , let's talk about your premise.  Your premise is that Ukraine is fighting a war...the US is supporitng that war...if someone supports THAT SUPPORT they are irrelevant unless they go to Ukraine and sign up for the infantry??  Is that correct?  Is that what I'm to gather here?

So, If I'm pro-life I should not only offer to deliver babies in the ghetto I should raise them, right?

If I'm for "drill baby drill" I should hire some drill rig to put a hole in my back yard regardless of whether there's anything there??

Is that the standard for support??

Yeah, that sounds DUMB right? Or, it sounds ike Russian propoganda?   Are you an American citzen or just an indoctrinated one??

You have never suggested any reason why Soleimani was killed/

People who do not acknowledge the other side of an issue they criticize are not to be taken seriously.

They are either ignorant or corrupted by political views.

Being "aggressive" against bin Laden would have saved thousands of US lives.

Being aggressive against Hitler would have saved an entire generation.

Sometimes being aggressive is the best decision.

You wouldn't know, because evidently, you are unaware.

As far as your 30%, you do nothing, provide nothing, and seemingly know nothing.

You are noise.

Ya.  I'm naive.

You know how the US conducts a drone strike, ie the Soleimani thing?

Any clue?

For your edification here's how it works:

US intel agencies finger a guy who is perceived as very dangerous.

In the case of Soleimani, a guy who was actively planning an operation that would have targeted US servicemen.

He had done this before.

They go up the chain seeking to get him. They track him and present the option to the president, who approves or disapproves it, as assassinations are beyond the scope of the US military.

This scumbag was preparing for an operation to kill US servicemen.

It wasn't Trump's idea. It was presented as a smart thing to do; that needed to be done.

It would have been gross negligence to not approve it, with a chance of horrible consequences.

You wouldn't know.

You are too focused on hating the man to decide objectively and correctly, and the reality of the real world doesn't have any space in your cranium.

"No new wars" message received, loud and clear.

The only headline that matters: Putin Wins. JD Vance reminds us why he was a terrible choice.

The meeting between Messrs. Trump and Zelensky started out smoothly enough. “It’s a big commitment from the United States, and we appreciate working with you very much, and we will continue to do that,” Mr. Trump said of the mineral deal. Mr. Zelensky showed photos of Ukrainians mistreated as prisoners of war. “That’s tough stuff,” Mr. Trump said.

But then the meeting, in front of the world, descended into recriminations. The nose dive began with an odd interjection from Vice President JD Vance, who appeared to be defending Mr. Trump’s diplomacy, which Mr. Zelensky hadn’t challenged. Mr. Zelensky rehearsed the many peace agreements Mr. Putin has shredded and essentially asked Mr. Vance what would be different this time.

Mr. Vance unloaded on Mr. Zelensky—that he was “disrespectful,” low on manpower, and gives visitors to Ukraine a “propaganda” tour. President Trump appeared piqued by Mr. Zelensky’s suggestion that the outcome in Ukraine would matter to the U.S. “Your country is in big trouble. You’re not winning,” Mr. Trump said at one point.

Why did the Vice President try to provoke a public fight? Mr. Vance has been taking to his X.com account in what appears to be an effort to soften up the political ground for a Ukraine surrender, most recently writing off Mr. Putin’s brutal invasion as a mere ethnic rivalry. Mr. Vance dressed down Mr. Zelensky as if he were a child late for dinner. He claimed the Ukrainian hadn’t been grateful enough for U.S. aid, though he has thanked America countless times for its support. This was not the behavior of a wannabe statesman.

New wars can be prevented by operations that eliminate those that would cause them.

Soleimani comes to mind, but you are not capable of understanding that.
