They think Ukraine is going to make another run at last year's objectives. This would be a Bad Idea if the Surovikin Line defences haven't been reduced, Russian reserves are still intact, and the minefields there remain uncleared. Time will tell. However, former Wagner troops were sent to Belarus. They'd be the only troops really worth much as Belarus' army would be even worse than Russias. I'm very curious what Poland would do if Belarus attacked Ukraine. Poland has been really worried about Russian aggression and beefed up their army considerably. A strong argument can be made they have the best army in Europe right now. There have been a lot of Belarussian provocation toward Poland, likely something Putin has instigated.
