He's got his pants pulls down around his ankles for Putin. The clown show is not even a month in yet. You’re right. He really should be blaming Biden. Oh wait, he already did.

You should have ended it three years. You should have never started it. You could have made a deal."-Donald Trump. The only "You" who wasn't invited is Ukraine/Zelensky. So either he has the mental acuity of Sleepy Joe, or he's blaming Ukraine for starting the war. This is hilarious. Edited February 19 by Coffeesforclosers

Coffeesforclosers Posted February 19 Posted February 19 Ukraine, Europe will be part of 'real' peace talks, says Rubio, as US weighs Putin's motives So whatever is going on in Saudi Arabia aren't peace talks? 1
Trump_is_Mentally_fit Posted February 19 Author Posted February 19 Can't blame the Europeans for failed negotiations if they are not in the negotiations
Roundybout Posted February 19 Posted February 19 Glad Turkey is making a stand that Ukraine should not cede one inch of territory to Russia

It was about weakening Russia and thwarting efforts to integrate the Russian economy with western Europe. Simply, there are other priorities and bigger fish to fry now (that always existed but were ignored by the Biden crew). So don't be surprised by Trump's efforts to move Russia out of its arrangements with China. This is the start. Clearly, China is the biggest threat to the US. Other aspects of this new focus are efforts to drive Chinese influence our of the western hemisphere. Shifting the current 2 on 1 arrangement in our favor is a likely strategic goal. You can shake your pom poms and shout your slogans all you want but China's the target now. Not Russia, to the dismay of the war enthusiasts out there. Given they're out of positions of power and authority they're left to complaining. Nope. Even these far right senators understand what this is about. Now call them RINO's... https://www.cnn.com/2025/02/18/politics/video/roger-wicker-john-kennedy-trump-putin-digvid 38 minutes ago, Niagara Bill said: Could it be that Putin and his oligarchs money is the reason for Trumps rise from financial disaster to stability? sherpa Posted February 19 Posted February 19 Really not a fan of Trump on this. It seems to me that he is more interested in getting recognition for a silly and ill advised campaign promise than choosing the best long term solution. Throwing a life preserver to Putin is a long term mistake. Not too long term, maybe a few years, but not a good idea. Squish the roach, along with the on life support Iranian regime. 3

Wicker is chair of the Armed services committee. No one has polled the remaining R's as far as I know. Collins has said much the same. So you disagree with wicker, Kennedy and Collins.

Good on her and the other two for speaking their minds. Hopefully the bloodletting ends soon.
