The anti-appeasement argument is let's continue to fund the war until every Ukranian is dead. And what you call appeasement is what most people call negotiating. 

I think the Russians should leave Ukraine but so should the Americans. 

And Trump is far from helping Putin but after 8+ years of non-stop Russia, Russia, Russia propoganda that's how you see every event.

So they negotiate some mutually agreeable settlement and if Putin renegs on the deal or causes trouble somewhere else we have overwhelming force superiority to deal with it. Problem solved.

President Biden has reportedly given Ukraine permission to deploy US-supplied longe-range missiles to attack targets in Russian territory just weeks before President-elect Donald Trump takes office. Ukraine said it plans to take advantage of the policy change within days. The dramatic shift in policy comes as Ukraine has faced setbacks on the battlefield and after months of requests by Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky to allow Ukraine’s military to use US weapons to hit Russian military targets far from its border. Trump had pledged that he will end the war once he takes office in January

This is an absolutely idiotic move by the lame duck Biden administration. Leave the decision to escalate the war to the next administration. This decision will provide minimal gain for Ukraine and could potentially lead to massive destabilization. I just hope Russia can see that this demented leader will be out of power in 2 months.

I believe this is part of the Democrat resistance movement's overall "scorched earth" strategy. Leave things in as worse shape as possible as their media allies continue to peddle the all is well with everything mantra during their withdrawal from control. Then when something goes wrong carpet bomb the message that Trump was left with everything in great shape by Biden and he screwed it up already. Expect a significant market correction early in 2025 to start things off.

I am waiting for CNN and NBCNews to play the "Trump got us into world war 3" card when the war escalates in January directly because of Biden's senile at best/vindictive at worst missile decision. Remember, this is the same party and media that use to tell us that the economy is better because of Biden by comparing 2020 to 2022 stats while conveniently forgetting that there was a global pandemic in 2020.

Yeah, Biden need to be removed from any Presidential duties for the last few weeks, even if it is unofficial and behind the scenes. This is at best a poor decision due to senility and at worst petty extreme vindictiveness for losing that I didn't think that even the far left was capable of.
