I'm Spartacus Posted December 3, 2021 Posted December 3, 2021 I know it's been discussed, and mods delete if you see fit. These defensive interceptions and fumble recoveries with endzone celebrations are getting out of hand! C'mon man...enough already. To me it's the same as delay of game, taunting or unsportsmanlike conduct. Too much look at me stuff. What do ya'll think? 2 1 2 1 10 2 4 1 Quote

You can’t look at your opponent after tackling him, but 10-15 guys can run all the way to the opposite end zone after a turnover. 5 5 Quote
I'm Spartacus Posted December 3, 2021 Author Posted December 3, 2021 Not sure my age (64) has anything to do with the topic but I'm sick of seeing this crap. Remember when Thurman would score and just hand the ref the ball? Act like you've been there before. 7 1 1 1 3 Quote

Lordy, if it bothers you that much, just change the channel. 3 3 Quote
JoshAllin Posted December 3, 2021 Posted December 3, 2021 It's kinda annoying at this point, the celebrations look all the same to me. "Hey lets all run to the endzone and pose for the camera" 4 4 Quote
US Egg Posted December 3, 2021 Posted December 3, 2021 LB's and DB's now regularly act like it's a great play when making a tackle after a five yard gain on 1st&10 or 2nd&6 type situations. 2 1 Quote

Let them have fun on the field instead of having too much fun off the field. It's a game. 2 1 Quote

Now its spirit week at cheerleading camp. 3 Quote
1ManRaid Posted December 3, 2021 Posted December 3, 2021 This will be first the first and only time I ever say this with a straight face and in all seriousness. Ok boomer. 1 1 Quote

BritBill Posted December 3, 2021 Posted December 3, 2021 I don't mind it. But I do have a chuckle when teams do it when they're down by 17 in the third quarter. 1 2 Quote
wakingfane Posted December 3, 2021 Posted December 3, 2021 I agree.. because it's usually not spontaneous anymore or even emotional really. It's almost mandatory when there's an interception now, to start jogging toward the end zone looking around like, "okay... Are my boys with me? Huh? Huh? We doin this end zone thing? Okay! Yeah, we're doin it, yeah, let's go!" 2 2 Quote

PetermansRedemption Posted December 3, 2021 Posted December 3, 2021 Agree. It’s gotten old and stale at this point. As someone else mentioned, it’s all the same. Run to the end zone and pose for the camera. Also find it odd that with the emphasis on taunting this isn’t considered over the top. 1 5 Quote
LV Bills fan Posted December 3, 2021 Posted December 3, 2021 Yeah this one has been going on for about 5 years now. Time to come up with something new fellas. Maybe like a thick gold chain they can put around the neck of the intercepting player on the sideline? 1 Quote
BuffaloBillyG Posted December 3, 2021 Posted December 3, 2021 Time and a place for everything. If a guy makes a game winning/sealing INT...sure. Run all over. Line up and do all the dances from Cats. Who cares...ya earned it. I've also seen this happens multiple times when a team is down 20 with 8 minutes left. As a fan just makes me think "Wow, sure have a lot of energy left after getting your butt handed to ya." This isn't anything new though. Mark Gastineau made a career of celebrating meaningless sacks with his team down big. 1 Quote
Bookie Man Posted December 3, 2021 Posted December 3, 2021 I'm not against celebrating, but I find it kind of lame. All these dudes running all the way down the field to flex into come camera. Reminds me of when me and my friends were just some 13 year old dorks, flexing in the mirror after gym class or something. 😆 Quote
