Thailog80 Posted May 2, 2005 Posted May 2, 2005 He didnt even catch the ball.....WTF is Donahoe doing?!
SuperBills12 Posted May 2, 2005 Posted May 2, 2005 My Gawd, that was one hec of a hit....how did he even get up from that?? RP better tack on 10 more pounds of muscle before the season starts
Campy Posted May 2, 2005 Posted May 2, 2005 I'd be more inclined to appreciate his toughness if on the next play he scored a TD, but the video did show that he is capable of getting drilled. BTW: looked like a bad hit, helmet was down and he led with his head. Could've broken his kneck at worst, and should have been a flag.
BuffaloDynamite Posted May 2, 2005 Posted May 2, 2005 That QB sucks looked like old Drew throwing to TH!
BRH Posted May 2, 2005 Posted May 2, 2005 That QB sucks looked like old Drew throwing to TH! 325641 Looked like Flutie hanging Thurman out to dry back on opening day 1999 is what it looked like.
Dan III Posted May 2, 2005 Posted May 2, 2005 Looked like Flutie hanging Thurman out to dry back on opening day 1999 is what it looked like. 325652 that play still p***** me off when I think about it...
Talonz Posted May 2, 2005 Posted May 2, 2005 Looked like Flutie hanging Thurman out to dry back on opening day 1999 is what it looked like. 325652 Oh god, don't bring up the midget man....
MadBuffaloDisease Posted May 2, 2005 Posted May 2, 2005 Nice spear job. The defender should be thanking whatever higher power he believes in (that is, if he DOES believe in one) that he wasn't paralyzed, and that Parrish wasn't injured worse than he was.
scribo Posted May 2, 2005 Posted May 2, 2005 It shows Roscoe's willingness to give up his body for a catch. The drop, IMHO, appears to be because the pass was behind him and it was raining like hell.
EC-Bills Posted May 2, 2005 Posted May 2, 2005 I love that clip. I remember watching that game when it happened. WOW.
EC-Bills Posted May 2, 2005 Posted May 2, 2005 That QB sucks looked like old Drew throwing to TH! 325641 That's Brock Berlin. He's now in the Dolphins camp.
Mike in Syracuse Posted May 2, 2005 Posted May 2, 2005 Ok, you've show me that he can get crushed. Now please show me him getting up!
MadBuffaloDisease Posted May 2, 2005 Posted May 2, 2005 It shows Roscoe's willingness to give up his body for a catch. The drop, IMHO, appears to be because the pass was behind him and it was raining like hell. The pass wasn't behind him, but it WAS raining a lot, and it looked like the ball was deflected because it was wobbling a lot.
MadBuffaloDisease Posted May 2, 2005 Posted May 2, 2005 Ok, you've show me that he can get crushed. Now please show me him getting up! I think that was the hit that gave him bruised lungs and caused him to miss a few games. So I don't think he got up after it.
Tux of Borg Posted May 2, 2005 Posted May 2, 2005 I think that was the hit that gave him bruised lungs and caused him to miss a few games. So I don't think he got up after it. 325981 You're correct, he didn't get up.
scribo Posted May 2, 2005 Posted May 2, 2005 The pass wasn't behind him, but it WAS raining a lot, and it looked like the ball was deflected because it was wobbling a lot. 325977 My bad. As you said, it wasn't behing him. I just watched it again. It is wobbling, but I couldn't spot a deflection.
MadBuffaloDisease Posted May 2, 2005 Posted May 2, 2005 My bad. As you said, it wasn't behing him. I just watched it again. It is wobbling, but I couldn't spot a deflection. Yeah, it wasn't deflected. Just a wet, wobbly ball that more often than not is dropped. AAnd Parrish wasn't alligator-arming it.
Sound_n_Fury Posted May 3, 2005 Posted May 3, 2005 That's about the most blatant spear I've ever seen....the DB never brought his arms up to even simulate a tackle.
