He's been way over worked in his career. He would thrive in a RBBC set up. Give him 12-14 touches a game. 

 

Unfortunately he's priced himself out of that role. Yet another prime example of not giving a RB that huge payday.

I'm starting to think you should never hand out big money for second RB contracts.  Never.  Gurley, Bell, CMC, D. Johnson, Henry, Freeman, etc...  Kalmara just signed a huge contract and he's injured.  Cowboys are getting more out of Pollard than Zeke.  It's crazy.

How does an former MVP fall from grace that fast and far? Has the game evolved so much that it's past him by? I never cared for his antics but he did have talent.

he was a great athlete but a mediocre qb.  Never bothered to learn how to play the position .

I remember saying I hate the #1 pick.

I won it all last year . I'm 6-6 but team is decimated.  CMC, Miles Sanders, Darren Waller all got injured again! 

I got Allen too but just not enough around him.

Memo to the RB in the first round crowd.  Dynamic physical talents get beaten up at the pro level, particularly with more college mileage. There's a guy here who's on the record saying that in these parts. LOL
