    They have Gilmore, Bouye and D. Jackson.

    Jackson is a free agent next year and will be garnering a princely sum as he has taken a major step forward this year.

    He would be an excellent addition and use of a pick for a guaranteed starter.

Another reason why it would have been nice to get a guy at the deadline. Not good when you are hoping they sign Gaines, Worley, Kirkpatrick, RC, etc.

Now that Tre is on IR, is there a rule that allows us to pro-rata the remainder of his contract for this year (about $6-7m) and offer the same amount to another player (assuming you can even find someone close to being that good)?

No. Players on IR and PUP count against the cap.

Quinton Dunbar was brought in for a visit with the team in late September of this year. Daryl Worley was a member of the Bills from 11/3-12/9/20 before being poached from their Practice Squad by Las Vegas. So I'd imagine if we were to make a FA addition, one of them is the most likely move.

 

Anyone have a preference from the list or an idea of someone on a team's Practice Squad?
