Don't have to wait that long? You think Belicheat won't seize the moment.

I like your optimism. At least you recognize "delusional hope." So many on here are unable to be honest or open minded.

The Pats QB is scared to throw 10 yards down the field we’re not gonna get a threat from him if anything Dane Jackson is a stud run support tray will get his head in there but that’s not his thing

This is nonsense. Unless you mean opening day 2 season from now?

This is just a dumb comment. It’s not the 70’s, man. This is a pretty common thing to come back from in under a year anymore.

So you think there IS a dominant team? Which team is that ? Explain.

Perhaps no dominant team. KC looks to be coming into form. I don't recall saying there was one? Correct me if I'm wrong.

It's more about the Bills weaknesses that is most likely going to stop them from winning in the playoffs. Assuming they make it there. They have weaker lines on both sides of the ball. They can be "manhandled" on both sides of the line. Look at the Jags, Tenn, Pitt, and Colts game for proof. Weak in the trenches usually gets exploited vs playoff teams. Let's be honest here.

It’s always a teams weaknesses that get them beat in the playoffs. The Bills Oline is hobbled right now , but they will be getting key players back there plus Star on the DL. Only one of those games you mentioned wasn’t close and one was a single play away from a likely win. There are no perfect teams in the NFL and any team can lose their first playoff game. This season is a great example of that. The Bills will go as far as Josh Allen can rage them. He obviously doesn’t need perfect Oline play to put up points. Colts are probably the worst matchup for the Bills but they may not play again this season .

EJ Gaines still available?

I mean, I really didn't mind EJ.  He blew some coverages, but was more solid than most fill-in kinds of guys....

Patriots WRs don't scare anybody.

Adrian Peterson famously came back in eight months to play after his ACL surgery. However, the average time it takes to return to play in the NFL is 10.8 months (4). With an estimated surgical date of December 16th, White should be back in October or November 2022. Barring an expedited recovery, White is a strong candidate to start next season on the PUP list.

I’d be shocked if they hand out money to a top FA corner…. their defensive line was in dire need of a pass rush this past offseason with a robust amount of veteran pass rushers available they deferred to doubling down on Addison and the draft….My guess is they’ll do the same this offseason and go early round corner and resign Wallace to replace hold the fort till White comes back…they seem to like to stay away from signing or trading for star FAs/players.

I’m not sure I diggs what you’re saying about signing or trading fo4 star players.

We are going to have to see on that they did sign digs for the offense

On film it looked exactly what a torn ACL looks like. You can even see the pop if you know what to look for. Tre knew immediately, it was just wishful thinking on our part it was going to be something other than out for the year.

assigns thank you for that GIF

I'd have have said we need three guys to stay healthy - Allen, White and Diggs.

I have expressed many times on this forum my view that we might just be 1 elite player short to be a Championship team. We have those three (most SB teams have 4 or 5) and we can't afford to be without any of them to win a Superbowl IMO.

I respectfully disagree. You are consistent with this theory but I think you are being little too dramatic and at the same time wrong. Did our SB chances just suffer a hit? Sure. Are we doomed because we do not have 3 elite players? Hell no.

I think you are wrong from many reasons.

1. Theory does not work in general. You can win SB with 1 elite player (QB) and otherwise great team, or you can win with 5 elite players and average team, as well as average QB and elite defense. There are many ways.

2. Even if you were right, are you sure that when the playoff comes, we will not have 3-4 elite players again? Are you sure that Poyer is not elite player already? And are you sure other will not be when January comes? What about Oliver? Edmunds? Knox? I'd say we are not very far from the moment when we can say that either of them is a difference maker.

3. If you say that you need 3-4 elite players to win SB, who will even represent AFC in SB? The only team which fits the condition are Chiefs imo (Mahomes, Hill, Kelce). Are you saying that we will not be able to beat them anymore without Tre? As for other teams, who are these 3-4 elite players on Ravens? Titans? Patriots? Chargers? Bengals? I don't see more than 2 on any AFC team. There are couple of NFC teams which have 3-4 elite players, but I seriously doubt that AFC team (whoever it is) will not stand a chance due to having of less elite players.

4. Are you sure that all SB teams had at least 3 elite players? Granted I am no expert, but which truly elite players had 2017 Eagles? 2015 Broncos? I am only asking about last 6 years, since I haven't followed NFL before, so I am sure same question could be asked about many teams before.

I’m more thinking a guy for around $10M per year rather than a top FA.

I think, unfortunately, that this injury MAY impact his longevity at playing CB past the age 29 or 30 as ACL tears seem to really impact a player’s agility and explosiveness. That said, if White ever has to transition to FS, my goodness he would be incredible back there.
