Losing White is definitely going to impact our defense. Im sure our defensive strategy will adjust to give Jackson safety help. Or we go after a serviceable CB. The lone bright spot is that we have an offense thats able to go toe-to-toe with any offense in the league.

Most are still in the denial phase I think. This new narrative of "it'll be alright, just play more zone" is comfort food.

Its countering “the sky is falling” crowd.

We got housed by Tennessee and Indianapolis with Tre.

Does it hurt?  Yup, but it as it always was… up to our Offense to win a title.

Do you think Mahomes can?  He’s got Jones, Matthieu and some randoms.

How about Lamar?  His defense is awful.

Tannehill?  Vrabel doesn’t have a ton on that side, but they’ve made it work.

We still have guys:  Oliver, Edmunds, Milano, Johnson, Hyde and Poyer.  Then add in a deep, heavily invested in DL.

Losing Tre isn’t an excuse for the Defense to be *dramatically* worse.

We arent, or at least shouldn’t be, a Rams losing Ramsey where they invested all their resources in two players.

I dont know if I agree witht his or not.  I need to see how they actually play without Tre.

Dont forget.....McD is the guru of defensive backs and has a reputation of turning chicken ***** into chicken dinner

If I’m not mistaken the last game that Tre missed was against the Titans last year , if that’s what we got looking forward to I’ll pass on that dinner

We’ll have to score, stop the run and get pressure on Brady with the DL.

If none of that happens, we get smoked, with or without Tre..  (see Ten/Indy)

Those minimizing the loss of Tre like it’s nothing are cope, but some of y’all are opposite end of the spectrum annoying.

I said rebuild the o line. I don’t think the loss of Tre is that big of a deal. Middle of the pack defense’s win SB’s all the time. Trenches are more important. The O line is the real issue here.

We are not getting deep in the playoffs, let alone getting to the SB with this O line. So I’m not stressing the loss of Tre. It is what it is.

I with you on the oline even when we do win a game Allen is getting killed.  It’s like most fans don’t watch the games, we’re just not we’re we need to be yet, the oline is terrible the defense plays one good game then two awful, the running game is bad i mean we’re beginning for Breida, but we do have the number one piece QB, and I’m so thankful for that. With just a little help next year this team should be ready, and we shouldn’t have all that hype next year. GO BILLS

They scored on every drive after the 1st Quarter this year with him…?

I don’t think you understand how good Tre is. Qbs literally ignore his side of the field and don’t throw his way because he is that good. Wrs simply don’t get separation

This.  Tre is not the fastest DB out there and he makes up greatly for it with his incredible technique.  I think they can do a lot more man coverage because of him.
Dane is a decent to good DB but don’t anyone kid themselves if you think he’s going to be halfway near what Tre brings to the table.

Who did the Chiefs have at corner when they murked us in the AFCCG?

Who do the AFC leading Titans have in their secondary?

This is why you pay coaches.  Not every play is practice drill one on one with our corners.

I think this is probably spot on, SCBills.  Great analyses of those other teams.  The Bills D shouldn’t collapse but they will have to make some serious adjustments to make up for the loss of a true lock-down corner.  Things just got a lot tougher.

All I’m going to say is this if we can not get constant pressure with our front 4 it won’t be pretty

I don't think that this is as big of a deal as some are making it our to be.

I like Tre, and he's got above average instincts and ball skills, but physically and athletically he doesn't stand out amongst many of his peers.

The will shift some help Jackson's way and maybe play a little less aggressive in the secondary to mitigate the drop off in talent.

These guys can still run with anyone when they are on their game

Part of the issue is I am not confident in Wallace. I think he already gets help a lot, and 39 gets beat a bit.
