Bills have been fortunate to not have lost players for the season during McD's tenure.  Real fortunate.

Fans are pretty spoiled by that.    I'll throw in the towel when Allen goes out for the year.    Tre White's loss is surmountable if the rest of the team were to actually start playing to expectations............whether fans want to see it that way right now or not.

Correct. As with most (all?) teams, there's only one player that's absolutely irreplaceable -- the QB. This makes things much more difficult, but I wouldn't count us out with no White.

You just don't replace your cornerstone CB. This is a dagger in the backs of the Bills players and fans. The team has so many weakness that this injury is something the Bills cannot overcome. I'll be watching the rest of the season with little expectations.

I dont know if I agree witht his or not.  I need to see how they actually play without Tre.

Dont forget.....McD is the guru of defensive backs and has a reputation of turning chicken ***** into chicken dinner

i havent seen Dane Jackson play enough to say he is gonna be awful, like you all i am not privy to watching these guys practice and he hasn't played enough in games to really know. Now its safe to say there is gonna be a drop off but i am sure he is a better option than anyone they can sign off the street and Cam Lewis is prob gonna have to play some too, they prob will sign someone but its just gonna be emergency depth at this point.

The way this turns now is Dane Jackson starts getting 1st team reps which should help him during the week.  He is going against a very good WR group in practice which will help him along.

It wont replace Tre.....but they might be able to cover it up a bit

Simply ridiculous -as are most of your contributions. Consider yourself encouraged to exclude yourself from posting your ‘little expectations’. 🤦‍♂️

I fear the FO shares your passivity.  It was there for the taking this year - you make your own luck.  They had everything perfectly set up and just a bit more proactive foresight would’ve increased their margin for error and would’ve left them less exposed in this situation.

"It was there for the taking"....you're joking right?...with this incredibly bad OL we we're probably not winning a SB.  Losing Tre will be a huge blow but this team will battle on. We'll have an improved OL. More experience from the young DE's. Hopefully a better running game. And after a 1st round CB, the draft will emphasize olineman. 1T in free agency.

I’m not trying to be a dick here but I can’t think of a single roster in the NFL with less “weaknesses” then us. The balance of this team is actually very impressive. This injury is a very big deal and now it puts a strength in question but I do not think there are a lot of weaknesses

I can't believe what I just read. I'll keep it at that.

First and foremost I wish Tre a speedy recovery,

I remember someone started a thread way back about what injury ( besides J A ) would be the toughest one to overcome, and most on here picked Tre because of how thin we are at the CB position , and what really pisses me of is that we didn’t do ANYTHING to address it in free agency, the draft and even at the trade deadline ,

I’m sorry but I’m just so f*^!ing pissed

That was BS though. We were not thin at the CB position. Our 4 depth cb's are better overall than those on most teams. It's the wrong reaction here to try to have someone to blame. Hope that we make do in the best possible way. Look at other team's #3 corners around the league. It's not even a debate.

I knew my post would be very unpopular here. I get the blow back and why most here want to remain positive. This in one guy the Bills couldn't afford to lose. The Bills were already vunernable in the trenches, inconsistent pass rush, and a suspect running game. How in the world do you think they can overcome the loss of their lockdown corner? One of the top 3 corners in the league. Take off your Bills homer cap and realize that the Bills season has dramatically changed for the worse. This team will be fortunate to make the playoffs and if so it's a one and done. No comments necessary. Just shake your head in disgust.

This season is pretty much a washout anyway. Let’s say in the extreme hypothetical scenario the Bills make it to the SB(they won’t) they wouldn’t win anyway. So losing Tre is not this big gigantic deal some are making it out to be. Focus on next year….

Rebuild the O line

Replace Edmunds

Get a RB

Another Corner opposite Tre

Easy as pie, 2023 SB here we come!

BPA with first round pick…. But I am really tried of the usage of early round picks in defense…. Specifically when week in and week out one or two of them is inactive. Time for them to invest offensively and WR will be a need this off-season with Sanders and Beasley a year older and most likely gone, IMO.

I’m with you on this… If the offense can consistently get their ***** together they are still among the better AFC teams…. Unfortunately I don’t trust the offensive line nor the offensive coaching staff.

I'm tired too of defensive 1st rounders but Tre may not be ready till midseason next year. Will Levi, Dane and Taron hold down the fort? If Tre hadn't gotten hurt it would have been a robust OL draft, including 1st round.

I recall after the Colts game reading on here that someone thought Tre was overrated. And that comment got at least five or six thumbs up or agree emojis. Those posters are about to see how overrated he isn’t. Obviously a terrible thing to happen to him and to the defense, but let’s hope that this just makes them stronger by unifying them. There’s not gonna be any shut down corner out there. That defensive line needs to get to the quarterback and they need to create pressure to make it easier on the cornerbacks and safeties to make plays.

Most people on here are morons.  Tre is a great player.

The only thing that people are correct about, is McD's scheme is zone heavy and doesn't put his DB's in a lot of 1:1 matchup's without help.

The only thing that matters is Allen.  When he plays well the Bills win.  When he is average they struggle.  It's all on him.  As it should be. He is a MVP talent  with lots of skill players around him.

Let’s just see how it plays out, ok?

Agree with all points. Starting with OL top priority. Find another good cb to pair with Tre after recovery. Then RB / 1T. I'm not a huge Edmunds fan but we need to focus on these other areas.
