Saint Doug Posted November 26, 2021 Posted November 26, 2021 We actually lost that game. 😞 1 Quote
HappyDays Posted November 26, 2021 Posted November 26, 2021 Whelp that is the worst possible thing that could have happened outside of Allen getting injured. The offense needs to step up the rest of the year. We aren't going to have the best pass defense in the league anymore, no more room for error. Hopefully Tre is back and fully healthy by the start of next season. 3 Quote
NewEra Posted November 26, 2021 Posted November 26, 2021 Wishing Tre the best of luck with his recovery.  Devastating news.   Let’s see that CB depth we’ve been building!! 1 Quote
jkeerie Posted November 26, 2021 Posted November 26, 2021 Oh well...Prayers for Tre.  Now we see how the team responds.  Quote
Buffalo_Stampede Posted November 26, 2021 Posted November 26, 2021 Probably the toughest injury loss in the McDermott era. Every team has to deal with them.   Quote
Alphadawg7 Posted November 26, 2021 Posted November 26, 2021 While this sucks, we still have a lot of good players in our secondary.  We aren’t suddenly going to go from best pass D to worst pass D over this.   We are going to need our front 7 to step up now and the offense to find better consistency. 1 Quote

jimmy10 Posted November 26, 2021 Posted November 26, 2021 If my two bad old catcher’s knees could combine to equal one functional knee, I’d donate them to Tre in a heartbeat. 1 Quote
Beast Posted November 26, 2021 Posted November 26, 2021 (edited) The type of injury where the offense, defensive line, and defensive schemes need to pick up the slack. It can be done and needs to be done.  Bruce Smith missed the majority of the 1991 season and was largely  not effective in the games he was available to play. The Bills still went to the Super Bowl that season missing one of the greatest ever to play.  Our defense is loaded with talent. Next man up and the whole team can overcome this tough loss.   Edited November 26, 2021 by Beast 6 Quote
Brianmoorman4jesus Posted November 26, 2021 Posted November 26, 2021 Levi Wallace probably becomes the most important player on this defense now. The drop off gap we need to worry about isn’t from the starters to Dane Jackson. It’s the drop off from Tre to Levi at #1 Go out and sign 3 or 4 veteran CBS with legitimate NFL experience and see if you can get lucky to piece this thing together. Can’t just fold up shop and you can’t just rely on what we have. Give yourself outs here. 1 Quote
