Yes. Happened to the Bills when Washington coach Joe Gibbs called two timeouts back to back to ice the kicker. It was a 15 yard penalty then though. Not a 5 yard FG.

I knew that, but an NFL head coach definitely needs to know that. Also, if they had 11 players , not 10 on the field, they wouldn't have to call time out. Just a horrible game with 2 terrible teams with 2 bad coaches.

If this was us vs Washington, I was at that game.  We were trying to kick a long FG to win and they put us 15 yards closer.  I guess the yardage penalty changed. 
 

The fans were pissed

Yes...didn't the Bills win a game against the Redskins because they got a second chance at a game winning FG because of that during the drought one year? Missed initially, penalty assessed and then made the rekick. 

 

EDIT: 2007...right game, only part I got wrong is Lindell initially made a 51 yarder to win that was blown dead due to Redskin TO...then liked up again to kick and they called another...penalized 15 yards and then he kicked a 36 yarder to win.

No..the Redskins got penalized..

 

I was partially right...2007. Lindell made a 51 yarder but play was blown dead due to Redskin TO, then called another prior to him lining up for the kick again and were given 15 yard unsportsmanlike conduct penalty and Lindell made the easier 36 yarder to win.

Yup. Gibbs didn't know the rule. He was too fixated on restrictor plate sizes.

I dont think he missed. He never got a chance to kick as they called two timeouts.
