Both at home due to weather.  Another reason for a dome :)

That’s without the stupid holding penalty against the Titans when he returned it for what should’ve been go ahead td.

Everyone makes it sound like we'll be 17-0 every year if we have a dome.

Yeah, that play gets forgotten, but I would suggest it more than any other changed the trajectory of this season. A holding call 30 yards away from the play (and it was holding), stupid, stupid, stupid. What seems like little things at the time can make a big difference in the long view. Ugh!

McKenzie is top 5 in league in KO return yards.  Be careful what you wish for.  Just saying.

He returns a lot so his total return yards is high, but his average of 24.9 yds is nothing special.  And as @SMAKCruiser pointed out, his two major mistakes outweigh that anyway.

If you think that “everyone makes it sound like we’ll be 17-0 if we have a dome”……than you should clearly work on your reading comprehension skills.

The way I see it is McKenzie can not field a kick return again for this team if you are serious about sending a message.

No he's not the sole reason this team lost against the colts but his mistake killed any chance they had to get back in the game. Also McDermott spoke about him multilple times in interviews with the media saying 'he knows he can't turn the ball over'. So it's empty words to let this guy keep playing and the time is now to send a message and make a change if you are coaching staff serious about holding your poor performing team accountable.

And for those that say it could get worse with a rookie, sure he can do the same thing and fumble but that's about it. Best case he actually protects the ball, runs a kick back and gets worked into the offense the rest of the season.

Either way it's time to end the McKenzie experiement for good in Buffalo and if Daboll is gone after this season I'm sure it's a given that McKenzie is also long gone from this team.

That is just stupid coach speak. Everyone knows no player can turn the ball over.

Singletary fumbled and wasn't touched and Breida and Allen both fumbled the ball away.

Do people really want to trust a rookie coming off IR to field punts and return kick offs??? Not this late in the season.

Besides who do you sit? Unlilely they would sit Beasley or McKenzie. Moss? Breida? Jones? Kumerow is already not dressing.

Go read through the forums and read all the crap plays, poor performances people blame on the weather...  I am obviously exaggerating when I saw "everyone".

Been here a long time.  Been reading a long time, thanks.  “Everyone” isn’t the only thing that you exaggerated.  More so 17-0.

Bad weather increases the level of difficulty for the pass game.  Our team is more pass dependent than any team in the league.  Let’s not act like this isn’t the case.

And then when the dome is finally built, we will have morphed into a power running team 😊

Either way I doubt he is available for Thursday. If I remember right from last year Bills really take advantage of that 3 week roster exemption and practice time.

maybe finally put Beasley on IR to really heal. He obviously isn’t right. Or just take Kumerow’s spot as he is offering NADA.

I agree with you on Beasley.

It’s been spotty in terms of targets anyways.

Nah.  Still road games outside. 16-1, 15-2.  Something like that.

Nobody is saying that. A dome doesn't guarantee you anything but you can't ignore the fact that this team and QB play poorly in bad weather. It seems like it's always windy in Buffalo. This team is not built like the 90's team that welcomed snow. Would it be so horrible to kick in some extra money and build a retractable roof. On a nice calm sunny day open the damn roof. Give Josh that little edge. I know the diehards love their wool caps and snow days but times are different. This is currently a passing league.

Though the way the Bills defense played that game was worried that with the TD that early 2:00 left, Tenn would have enough time to still score, like the Bills almost did at the end.

He could still never play this season. Starting practice doesn't mean much at this point.

He did travel to the game

Would be cool if he got in the game. Homecoming for him and Tre Day

What message would this be?  "Make a mistake and you'll be slung into outer space without hope of redemption"?

Yeah, that's not the kind of message McDermott wants to be sending.

It's currently #6 in the league.  There's also the point that he's had a lot of return yards cancelled by penalties.

That too :)  Am I the only one really nervous when McKenzie returns kicks/punts?  I felt this way long before the Colts fumble.

If McKenzie didn’t have that issue he’d probably still be a Bronco

Isaiah McKenzie has one fumble in three years of punt returns.

Just a fact for overreacting fans who want to throw him to the wolves.

That’s a terrible message.

Fumble the ball once and never play again?

And he’s not only the sole reason we lost he’s one of a hundred.

After watching Hard Knocks (and his fumbles), I am think Mckenzie's time returning kicks and punts may be coming to an end.   I like him on offense though, I bet Kumerow gets the axe.
