Bless those vendors trying to sell team gear on a Monday like this

Lost 3 of the last 5. Haven't won consecutive games since mid-October. Got blown out and ran all over. The Bills possibly even lost you a game in your fantasy league to whomever had Taylor in their lineup. But gosh darn it, the team store/Fanatics/etc is going to try and send you an email promoting all their new gear. Not sure if tone deaf or just abject optimism. Try to take your mind off the numbing loss by focusing on the upcoming holidays perhaps? Either way, I hope they do sell their gear and make their quota. I still Billieve. My only suggestion would be to discount after a loss instead of only after a win. Maybe sales on clearance jerseys? A cross promotion with the Sabres shop to get rid of all the Eichel gear? My tip:  the cheaper the jersey, the easier to repurpose the name on the backplate.

I think late November and December are, historically, strong weeks for retail sales.  Something about colder weather or less daylight hours make us want to buy things, I guess.  Wouldn't read too much into it.

Sometimes you need new gear after a loss like this since you burned your jersey in the backyard and flushed your hat down the toilet at about 3PM yesterday.
