FilthyBeast Posted November 21, 2021 Posted November 21, 2021 At the beginning of the year I said 12-5 and loss in 2nd round of the playoffs, also assumed winning a consecutive division title. Can find the post later if needed. But sadly I'm now revising that prediction to 9-8 and missing out on the playoffs altogether. If you are still confident in this team though feel free to chime in or let me know what you think. Yes covid and injuries but if you've been paying attention there was no stopping this trainwreck from happening and coming full circle today even if the roster was 100% full strength. 1 1 Quote
RichRiderBills Posted November 21, 2021 Posted November 21, 2021 We are likely still a playoff team. Nothing more. 1 Quote
BBills88 Posted November 21, 2021 Posted November 21, 2021 Mentally they are week, once a team punch them in the mouth, they lay in the fetal position with no fight back in them. 4 1 1 1 Quote
SCBills Posted November 21, 2021 Posted November 21, 2021 If we get, and stay, healthy… Yes and Yes. Of course, the NFL is a war of attrition and our depth in certain areas is an absolute travesty. 1 Quote
ChronicAndKnuckles Posted November 21, 2021 Posted November 21, 2021 I'm going on record. Buffalo can still make it. 4 Quote
Roundybout Posted November 21, 2021 Posted November 21, 2021 Playoffs for sure. The AFC is so weak. Super Bowl? Ehh. 1 Quote
Niagara Bill Posted November 21, 2021 Posted November 21, 2021 (edited) No! To SB Playoffs, did you say playoffs, I just want to win a game. What happened to all for one. Edited November 21, 2021 by Niagara Bill Spelling Quote
Success Posted November 21, 2021 Posted November 21, 2021 We'll see. We were not going to get the 1 seed regardless. Any way you slice it, we have to win 3 games. The road might actually be better, depending on Buffalo weather. I'm not so jaded that I won't have hope at this point, especially when we're still in the WC race, are a 1/2 game back of the division, and have 2 games w/ the division leader left. Let's see how it goes. We could lose the rest, or we could get healthy, sweep the Pats and roll into the playoffs. 1 Quote
Maine-iac Posted November 21, 2021 Posted November 21, 2021 Well we are going to get a big dose of what we can't seem to stop (running football teams). So we run the gauntlet and we show exactly what we are. 1 Quote
PastaJoe Posted November 21, 2021 Posted November 21, 2021 Way too early to make predictions. One key injury to any contender could tip the balance. 1 1 Quote

And I'd hate to face Bills in the playoffs if they are hot. All they need to do is just get there. I won't let a crappy weather game sum up an otherwise good season. 3 1 Quote
Dablitzkrieg Posted November 21, 2021 Posted November 21, 2021 (edited) Barely a playoff team. Can see them flaming out soon. Too soft. Edited November 21, 2021 by Dablitzkrieg 1 1 Quote
JoshAllin Posted November 21, 2021 Posted November 21, 2021 The top AFC teams are getting manhandled this week, so sure they still have a shot. If the can beat the hot pats then that should confirm it for you doubters Quote
DrDawkinstein Posted November 21, 2021 Posted November 21, 2021 The team we saw on the field today is not a playoff team. 3 Quote
Beast Posted November 21, 2021 Posted November 21, 2021 (edited) I said, in the pre-game thread, I felt the Bills had to come out of the Indy, Saints, Patriots, Bucs stretch at at least 3-1 to be considered a contender. I was roasted for saying that. Why? I don’t know. Obviously it now looks like 3-1 was wishful thinking. This team is not that good. It doesn’t make us any less fans, or make us wish any less that they will get it together. It is what it is. They feasted on some pathetic teams and when the going has been tough, they have folded like a cheap suit. They can stop with their cute, love each other, everyone has a hot sauce, Shnow-man, blah, blah, blah. They appear mentally weak and I, for the first time, wonder if McDermott is the answer. Seriously, a 50 yard FG in crap conditions on 4th and 5 when down 24-7? That is PATHETIC. This team will be lucky to make the playoffs. If they do they most likely will be one and out. There. I’m on the record. Edited November 21, 2021 by Beast 5 1 4 Quote
Nextmanup Posted November 21, 2021 Posted November 21, 2021 As long as we make the playoffs, you never know what will happen. It all depends on luck, timing, health, and the specific matchup we have in the playoff game(s). We could have lost our first game to the Colts last year, easily. Instead we won 2 and made it to the AFC championship. You never know! 1 Quote
Sharky7337 Posted November 21, 2021 Posted November 21, 2021 We are too weak on fundamentals (blocking, tackling) to make any real headway. At best we make playoffs and are eliminated. 1 Quote

Who are the other top AFC teams that were manhandled this week? Quote
