I couldn't agree with you more.  But fixing issues that need to be fixed versus blowing everything up is quite a different response to today's poor effort.

At this point, I'm wondering if the team needs a wakeup call. Like when the Ravens brought in Caldwell as OC mid-season and won the Superbowl,  or when Pat Riley took over the Heat who were underperformed and led them to a title with Wade and Shaq. (Or Phil Jackson in for Doug Collins). Something isn't connecting right now, and the whole is way less than the sum of the parts.

The one thing I hate about the Bills losing, is it brings out all the termites with their negative takes that otherswise remain hidden in the woodwork when the Bills play well.  Okay...the Bills suck today.  They're playing a more desparate team with the best back in the league and without key players.  Okay.  That does not negate what this team has accomplished since Beane and McD have arrived.   Believe me, this beat down is hurting them worse than it hurts us.   Are they overrated?  Perhaps.  Today, it certainly looks so.  We're not the best team in the AFC and we aren't the worst.  We no longer lead the division and the hated Patriots do.  There's more football to be played.  There are no runaway teams this year in either conference.   I'm going to enjoy the sport.  Hope the Bills get healthy and gather themselves for the rest of the season and let the chips fall where they may.  At this juncture, my real reason for pulling for the Bills to win, is to weed out all the faux fans who frequent the boards when the Bills play like crap.

Yeah, i guess you can take the Pollyanna route here.  We keep seeing this same take.  Do you believe the Bills need to win again this year, or are they good as is?  They keep losing, what, 3 of 4 now?  they're in second in the division, and look to be a terrible matchup against the Pats.  Oh well, there was always last year!

Defense needs a rethink. We cannot stop the run against quality teams. I trust that McDermott and Fraiser can mae the necessary adjustments so we can be sucessful against quality teams.

I agree, i trust them. They have had a tough D since they took over. I am a bit worried about our offense honestly. Well see. I am not excited for this thanksgiving game but ill be watching it rooting like always. This loss hurts though, honestly worst then the jags game

Oh god spare me the you can't call out this team deficiencies or you're not a real fan stuff.

No one is saying you can't call out the team's deficiencies.  But be measured and rational about it.  The takes by some fans on this board are just over the top.  I'll bet we agree on this one:  Both of our lines...offensively and defensively are overmatched physically, and when that is apparent in games, our coaching staff doesn't appear to have answers within their game plans to minimize those deficiencies.

Food for thought, if Bill Bellicheck coaches this team we are Super Bowl Champs. Again I compare this team to the early 90s teams. The 90s teams had a killer instinct always, no game was ever too far out of hand. This team does not have that.

Or Arians, or a few other coaches. The team is failing at basic fundamentals

That game was so bad I stopped watching in the 3rd and bought Kindergarten Cop.

This tells you everything you need to know about how I feel about the game

agreed, fans overreact to losses and over hype the wins, its what we do, the bills were never as good as the hype (most teams in NFL prove not to be) and we prob not as bad as we looked today. somewhere in the middle with the rest of the flawed NFL teams, the only thing we can hope for is they figure out how to improve some things and get hot down the stretch. Not sayin its gonna happen but one of these 32 teams has to get hot and make a Super Bowl run.

I just hope it's not the Patriots.

This team isn't taking their chance at winning a super bowl seriously. They thought the KC game was their super bowl.

They need to regroup and take a good hard look in the mirror and stop all the fun and games and get back to business like last year.

They're SOFT at key positions!! Defensive and offensive lines specifically. They also need to replace Milano and Wallace. Milano good in coverage, but his run support is horrible. Wallace is weak.

ONe thing is for sure, we 100% need a change with some coaching. Not saying McD, he's earned much more time, but Daboll, Bobby Johnson, hell even Frazier might not be back here next season.

This actually hurts way worse than the drought. During the drought, when a loss occurred it was almost acceptable. As though, coming into the game, I expected them to lose anyways. Now, after the success of last season and the promise of the season before, I expected a real team to come out and play the game. Well, I was sorely mistaken. The product that took the field today was abysmal. The coaching, the players and the heart that both displayed were as bad as I have seen. I will say that, unequivocally, if they lose on Thursday then they will not make the playoffs and we will see an overhaul. Usually, I would look at posts like this is an overreaction. Nope. Not an overreaction, reality.

This game was done in the final two minutes of the half and the start of the second…make it 14-7 let the colts drive the field to 17-7…goofball fumbles kickoff…24-7….miss field goal…start of second half starts with 2 drops and a 3 and out…

Goofball....lol.....McKelvin, McCloud, McKenzie.....see a pattern here....

They don’t have that mongrel in them .. they are too finesse and not enough smash mouth… is there a coach around that can change that?

Yeah, fortunately I missed this one but kept up with the score. Got embarrassed at home on both sides of the ball. My first thought was "How did the Colts lose 5 games?" and then I was just sad. This was supposed to be a special year, but it looks like the Patriots will destroy us twice (if they play like this again).
