Last year's run defense was awful because we didn't have Star. It is the same without him this year. Offense cannot afford mistakes today.

Check out the TD. It is such a brilliant play. They basically let Phillips come up field into the hole, and Doyle pulls

in almost behind him to seal him on the little cut back.

I’m not trying to overreact to the first drive of the game, but this has been a theme with this team the last few years. We are a finesse team who has a tendency to get pushed around by physical teams. Sometimes we persevere, but it’s a troubling trend.
