It's absolutely ridiculous that a rookie third rounder is so important to our offense.

Ridiculous maybe, but he's moved on from the third round project status that he arrived with.  He's differentiated himself quite a bit from that half way through the season.  If we have any doubt about that, where do you think he would be drafted in a redraft now?  I believe that, after mid season review, he is a 1st rounder for sure.  Props to Beane for getting him where he did and providing support to develop quickly.

It sucks, for sure.

But if our entire outlook hinges on a rookie 3rd round pick then we aren't the team we need to be to be serious Super Bowl contenders.

We are serious contenders…..when our OL is at its best.

Josh allen was good enough to overcome the piss poor OL.  He wasn’t be the jags.

The Bills can overcome Spencer Brown missing......panic if you want, but that is just ridiculous.

A good team doesn't collapse because one rookie RT doesn't start.  If we aren't good enough to overcome a rookie RT loss, then this team is really in trouble.

Some of you are way too dramatic imo. It's not the end of the world. Just because the line was horrible against Jags without him it doesn't mean that happens again.

Not a good news though. Especially if it means that he is out on Thanksgiving too and especially if he actually has Covid which can influence him when he returns.

Man I sure hope he can be cleared to play by Sunday. Bills need him desperately.

If he’s vaccinated he has a chance. If not, unfortunately we know for sure he’s out for (at least) the next 2 games (10 days from today, minimum).

LOL really.  The one and only reason the Bills lost was Spencer Brown?  How did they win games earlier in the season when Brown was not playing?

Yeah you’re right.  It’s not a given of course,  I just have nightmares from the game in Jacksonville and knowing the type of players that Paye and Buckner are, it doesn’t make me feel so good about the OL.

he's the starting RT...doesn't matter if it's a rookie or 10 year guy.

We beat the Colts in the playoffs because Josh Allen was Houdini-like under constant pressure and kept hitting scramble bombs down the field.  At least he has experience doing that against this team.

Okay.  So does that mean that if you lose a starting RT, the season will collapse?

You're making it sound like losing Brown is like losing Allen.

You say collapse like we walk in every week Kings of the Castle and easily crush every team. We've done it a couple times, but we also just lost to the Jags. Who kows which Bills team shows up week to week. It's any given Sunday in this league, and having your starting RT out hurts any team.

Truth.  He's not just a rookie, and honestly he's not just a starter... he might be our best OL.  He's certainly our most physical.

That said, a Championship caliber team figures out how to overcome this.

Please understand that being vaccinated does not make you immune, it only avoids greater risks if you get infected, so to speak, it is a preventive vaccine, not a cure.

but it makes a bigger difference if you're an NFL player
